You're the bug master
Guys he's a bot why do you bother so much.
I say let him be admin, if Timmos is admin, than any random noob can make it tbh.
He must be autistic...
The 100 the 100!!
ye denny, that is very senseful for a game with 300 players left
Why are you always negative about people and their posts? Go be a noob elsewhere we don't need your crap here.
Nice Mr X, thank you.
I don't own the game nor do I have time for it. Sounds like a mission for you ![]()
I've seen a lot of screenshots of scoreboards with up to 99 players, was just wondering if anyone out there captured the hectic gameplay on tape? If so, please share!
Fantastic, are the player models reworked as well or just the maps with the statics and texture?
Liga for SW?
Someone ought to make an infantry oriented CSS-oriented Objective mode mod, that would be pretty epic.
Not all SW maps are converted to Objective. IIRC, you have Telemark, Hellendoorn, Eagle's Nest, KBely Airfield, Mimoyeques and Essen that have Objective in them. The two that are left, Gothic Line and Raid on Agheila, the map that was included in the patch, don't have Objective in them.
SW is by far the best expansion of the game, RTR can't even match it really.
Seriously, what can I do to solve this problem? I can't dogfight, can't play infantry maps, can do nothing which bound to shooting with automatic weapons. I can't even shoot an enemy down from the tank machine gun from 20 meters.
HAHAHAHAAH YOU SUCK AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHHA
HAHAHA
HAHA
I am not sure how it works, but afaik you need the rights for the game to get the code. Once you have the code some programmer would patch it for sure. But EA is not willing to sell the rights for this game. I have no idea why.
Pretty much what tuia did, and he released his patched EXE for the server player limit fix on public forums such as BF Mods.
The Observer wrote:Timmos wrote:because the game is old and EA doesnt care about it anymore?
Bullshit.
Don't tell me EA doesn't care about this old game anymore, they just released a free patch via the Origin platform and could have addressed the problem in that new patch, but they didn't.
Why should they put time (money) in a game without getting any profit? Isn't it more intelligent to employ their programmer in a project which is worth it? Companies have the aim to get money and their programmer are their resources. It's logic.
And maybe this problem is not easy to handle because the engine just sucks. Who knows?
Do you think they will patch it because they like us?
Bugusing is like cheating and glitching for me. It's just dirty playing.
I'm sure tuia could fix the EXE to remove the bugs, after all he pushed the player limit to 128 which is very remarkable. What else could he do?
The best thing that EA can do for us, veterans, would be providing the support of updated PB back.
What does this has to do with the topic?

This project is part of another bigger project of creating a mega BF1942 community complete with official forums as well as official servers, and many other essential files, such as mods, tutorials, workarounds, videos, media and useful programs. Kind of like an "unofficial official Battlefield 1942 community", because it is not supported by EA/Dice in any way. But anyway I am not here to promote this community, it is not the right place to do it, all I want is for people to grasp the central idea of my thread: reviving the dead NA competitive scene.
If you want to have a North American BF1942 competition, you'll need a well designed website, suitable for competition, with matches, tables, players database, forums, etc.. A good example is http://www.esl.eu/ but it's a bit utopic to reach that status. It's not an easy undertaking, you'll need some talented programmers and designers to build you the website.
Moongamers will support us with this if everything goes well, and I trust their expertise in that domain (quality server hosting, large player base, well designed web site).
I don't think we will have any money prizes involved, the game is too old, but perhaps it would give more players and teams and clans an incentive to join the league?
It will better than Liga website, that's for sure ![]()
because the game is old and EA doesnt care about it anymore?
Bullshit.

The Observer wrote:As for bugs, he uses them all as I said. Prone and shoot bug, sand bag crouch and prone bug, wall hugging, and excessive crouching and proning while moving from cover to cover. Anything that can reduce the surface of his hitbox, he uses.
So then, is it a crime to bug? Why is it seen as something which has to be prohibited like a "true" PB hack? Why such unjust treatment for an element of the game which has been present since the beginning and that couldn't be removed by beta testers (and still to this day it cannot be removed, as it is hard coded in the BF1942.exe).
Debate here.
Bug using is like glitching, exploiting bugs in the game to your own advantage: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploit_(online_gaming)
Tell me then why it wasn't removed from the game in a patch? Why was it left there for people to use?
bud, there is new world order coming, in the game, but still, New WORLD fkin Order!!!
is she was a beauty at least?
Oh please shut up and piss off will you, immature puss.

I don't know but I blame Obama!
Please, if you do not want to contribute usefully to this thread you are free to remain silent. Thank you.
This thread serves to address the critical situation in which the North American competitive scene, if there is still one left, presently stands. Now I remember playing in SoV and TWL tournaments back in '09 if I am not mistaken, and still then being surprised of finding active 8 player teams and clans willing to scrim us.
All of this has now vanished, and there is simply no serious scrim or match to be had on a decent competitive level. I think it is a big shame because the Europeans have surpassed us in this domain. Not that when there still used to be competition on NA soil we dominated them, far from it, but now we have absolutely nothing and have to beg the Europeans to let us in their "BF Liga", the last reasonable competitive league left in the game. Not only that, but they doubt our skill level and think there are no strong American or Canadian teams left over here and that they run the game on the competitive level.
I think it is now time for us to take a stand and fight back. I know there's a lot of talent in NA, lots of individual talent as well as a handful of teams and clans that are just waiting to step out of the shadows and prove their worth. However, there is not central competitive community to unite them all under one banner. They are all split in different factions, and I'm pretty sure none of them fight each other in clan wars anymore.
Now, my partner and me are willing to start a massive undertaking: revive the dead North American competitive scene and make it rise from it's ashes. This project is part of another bigger project of creating a mega BF1942 community complete with official forums as well as official servers, and many other essential files, such as mods, tutorials, workarounds, videos, media and useful programs. If anyone on these forums is willing to help us with our project, please, share us your intel on the situation. We are willing to help anyone that is serious and dedicated about reviving the NA competitive scene.
That is a fantastic looking stats webserver, does it work for other servers as well or just one specific server?
tuia (or whoever the main admin is), you might want to create multiple forum sections in this "Other Languages" forum category.
I myself speak French as my main language and would like to have my own section. I think it would make things more simple for every foreign forum user.
See for yourself, this guy is a nut!

you will be in it also? because then the pro inf movie isnt correct...
Quoted from BF League forums, this guy is a troll. Worst than me.
Hahahaha, this has got to be the best excuse for team killing in any FPS
Hey lachesis im happy that you found your way to this forum.
Nope, lachesis has broken grammar and swears a lot.
