When an individual shows no maturity, decency or restraint censorship kicks in. You have no rights except those provided by your culture, society or government. I generally don't bother posting complaints, especially without screen shots or capture. I also don't want to clog up admins time.
However these rule breaking players need to (at least) see their names in print in the 'report abuse' section.
Around 9:00 pm Atlantic time Tuesday Feb 8th, map Penemude, player Simo Haya was air bombing the allied base. Twice he destroyed me in armoured vehicles when I hadn't even arrived at the wall which precedes the bridge. I (as well as another player Troy) chat requested he stop...to no avail. I can only assume he did so because no admins were present. His playing abilities clearly demonstrate he has plenty of experience playing and been around long enough to know the rules.

A week ago you were bombing the allied bases on both Kbley and Mimeocycles using the axis HO. I was going to report but gave you the benefit of the doubt. Now we get the real picture.
I get bad lag, spikes in ping and 'connection problems detected' frequently.
It's helpful to open CMD and run tracert/traceroute aimed at the server ip: tracert [options] <hostname or IP>
Let it run for a few minutes.
This will show you all the hops your packets take, how many ms each and which hops have packet loss. It's then easy to identify which node is the bottleneck, not that you can do much about it.
You picked the right username!
Probably dropped a bomb while stationary on the runway.
There is nothing easy you can do to get better except practice. A video won't help. Some of the people you play against may have MANY years of practice. Hundreds if not thousands of hours.
You may want to try single player mode and play through all the maps...MANY times.
Aim where the opponent will be, not at where they are. Aim and fire slightly ahead of their direction of travel. But all that depends on their angle of movement relative to yours, your ping, their speed of travel and your speed of travel. Every encounter is different. Oh and don't stand still for more than a second or two. Keep playing and practising and eventually you will get better. But don't expect this to happen quickly.

For the record, I logged into a game yesterday (Hellendoorn) around 6:00 pm AST and found an imposter using my name. This has happened before in 2019. Check Paul Baumer and Sunshine comments in the first link:

What I don't want is to be in anyway associated with this looser. In the past he pulled all sorts of disruptive play and tk's using my name,. A mess. His ping is in the 50-60's, mine is always in the 160-200 range. Also, he's not a good player at all so his score will reflect.
If he starts messing around again, It's not me but the psycho imposter.
Quick check on Gametracker, Khanzir has a score per minute of 3.05. Not impossible, but if you look at the top 10 you'll see just how rare that is. There have recently been a slew of new name players with devastating aim, and super human kill to death ratios. We fully expect top 20 players to be challenging respected adversaries, but these drop-ins are something else.

Looking for clarification. Is it legal to fire the Wasserfall Ferngelenkte Flakrakete (V2 remote control rocket) from the axis flags at Essen and Mimoyecques with the object of hitting the allied uncaps? or is that against server rules?
Seems pretty useless (on Essen) to use the rocket for anything else in as much as its primarily a dense urban map. I have (in the past) seen a number of respectable players (even an admin) use the Wasserfall to strike the Troop plane while it sits at the allied airfield or on take off.
So what's the rule?
I've just returned to the game after 4 months off and am rusty as the gates of hell but have been playing a very long time. Long enough to know that amateratsu is NOT a new player. He is an old player with a new name. He knows the maps, tricks and strategies far too deeply and intuitively to be a new player. His ping is stable and low at around 45ms. He racks up very high scores and very low deaths. The dude has moves!
I hate being suspicious of good players because I respect that experience, strategy and intelligence go a long way. I never mind playing against players far superior to myself and appreciate the challenges they bring to the game. I've had the pleasure of being pwned by many genuinely great players. I don't mind that at all. They have the equivalent of PhD's while I have my high school diploma.
amateratsu is able to hit, with a short burst , everything he aims at no matter the distance and no matter at what angle and speed the opponent is moving. He head shot me with two rounds while I travelled full speed on the motorcycle. Amazing! His accuracy is superb. Everyone agrees!
However, red flags were raised by many during the in game chat. Maybe because we don't know the name, maybe because we experienced players know when something isn't quite right. In the meanwhile, how is it possible to spectate? Is there a spectate mode or console command?

So it appears to be a time-of-day problem, between 2:00 and 6:00 pm Atlantic time it's likely to be unplayable. Mornings appear ok and evenings too though the pings are still high between 160 and 230ms.
I do find maps Rheinmetall Panzer and Reichsbahn to both be slow to move through even in single player mode.

I'm having constant lag, high ping and disconnects from the NEW maps server. Is it the same physical server as RR/SW? Connection to RR/SW is generally reliable and provides a steady ping. Too bad as the new maps breathe some fresh air and challenge into the game. Wondering why the discrepancy.
Really enjoying the newest maps! It's a fun challenge to figure out new terrain and strategies. After playing Bocage or Faid pass for the 1000th time, one gets to know all the tricks, choke points and strategies. Some of the maps are gorgeous, works of art really.

Technically, it's a bootable image of Linux with antiviral software, which works without installation.
Thanks for the information. I'm fairly certain the hack came from a compromised website but am going to try what you suggest.
My experience of installing BF1942 on Linux Mint 19 was frustrating. You most certainly need wine. I also used a wine front end called PlayonLinux which made the process allot more friendly. However, even after getting the game to install and run, it would only play in single player mode. No multiplayer . Even single player was error prone and really slow.
The computer had 6GB memory, 1GB PCIE grapgics and an intel quad core 2.
I ended up keeping Linux on my desktop and having a dedicated win7 machine for the game.
Recently received a sort of ransom email which showed my password to simple forums (this has now been changed). Not sure if I may have used the same password on some other site long ago. Any known recent breach of Simple forums data?

Although a reasonably good player, DIGO prefers to spawn camp at uncaps, shoot into the uncap and steal tanks in uncaps to inflate his score. I only ever see him at New Maps, like today at Toujaine around 4:00pm Atlantic time. He performs this way every time he plays and has managed to escape getting held accountable . Both myself and other players ask him to stop in the chat...no responses, ever. Not sure if he reads English.

Playing on October 29th at around 4:00 pm Atlantic time. New maps (Tunisia). I was inside the allied base , threw an expack, detonated and killed in the uncap. I have no excuse.
Been playing on simple BF1942 for many years always fairly. Don't know why I did that. It was wrong and I apologize for the lapse in fair play. I was immediately banned and I accept responsibility for it.
I hope the ban is temporary as I do so love the game and really like the new maps.
Please consider lifting the ban. I guarantee I'll keep playing fairly...promise.

Please see the posts entitled 'Why? Something is not right' in the server Ban section. This bad behavior came from an impersonator, someone who (for whatever reason) stole my user name and acted poorly. I would never be such a bone head. I respect the players as humans first who are out to have fun and hone their skills and strategies just like me. I am not an anarchist.

I successfully joined the server briefly this morning so all is well! Thanks to the vigilance and fairness of the server admins.
My ping is always high (usually jumping between 160 -240). We have rural internet service which bounces between several radio towers before arriving at the isp in the far north of this province. Makes it a challenge but I'm used to it by now.

Doughboy didnt evade and didnt play disruptive.
I confirm everything he says in his post.
There was a troll impersonating him, banned by me, but with a different ping and location so it's easy to prove that it wasnt the real doughboy.
I have to say that dougboy is a fair player and have nothing to do with that troll.
Post on dougboy by The Real Lenny are refering to his impersonator(watch his ping also - around 65 while real doughboy's ping is much higher on SiMPLE)Paul

Been playing for many years on Simple,always fairly and following rules. Mostly on Secret Weapons and RR. My player name is doughboy.
Was playing at around 8:20 July 28th, map Kebley Airfield. There was 1 player on Blue but was afk. Bam Bam joined red about 10 mins in.
I was defending the bridge against bots in the usual way. Mines, Mauser.
I did nothing wrong. Did not cross the bridge or TK or whatever.
Suddenly I was banned!
Please review the situation and LMK what on earth the reason would be and if I broke the rules somehow.
There have recently been other players who stole my name, I don't know if that has something to do with it.
