Today I was drinking vodka with my colleagues and this made us to raise debates about Yugoslavia, Ireland, Scotland and Crimea, of course. As far as you know, there will be a referendum tomorrow and I thought that all the issues and conflicts about the Crimean status are based on the imperfection of the international law accepted between countries and nations. I will try to explain. There are at least two principles under international laws that may contradict each other. Hence, it becomes the issue of priority: the right of nations to self-determination and territorial integrity.

"self-defence forces" with apc´s, machineguns and professional military equipment. Seriously, i don´t believe that.
Nobody believes and everybody knows where did they get the equipment and vehicles. From Russia, of course. Also, there are a lot of Russian forces in Crimea and somewhere close to Crimea in case of conflict. That's why there is no war there.

I´m not sure what is meant as irony and what not.
There is no irony at all this time.
It's funny thing but today Russian opposition held the demonstration in Russia against military aggression and referendum in Crimea.
On the contrary, people of the eastern part of Ukraine support Russia.

“This is a war crime without any statute of limitations,"coup-appointed Prime-Minister Yatsenyuk told a meeting at the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

2 killed in shooting near Crimea military research center, 'sniper detained'
They should just roll out the nukes already.
Yes, straight to the arse of that fucking sniper.
They should just roll out the nukes already.

I think you live in the parallel reality where you can create your own history. Read the document.
Protocol to the Treaty on the reduction and limitation of strategic offensive arms

Don't talk bullshit, nobody of the officials could say that.

I saw that too. TV here showed the guy saying that. Itcwas a Dmitry Kiselyov who said it. I looked him up and I found he is: head of the new official Russian government owned international news agency Rossiya Segodnya. I'm not worried about such threats that anyone makes like that.
I didn't LITERALLY mean drop the nukes. I mean if one side has a goal, just do it already.

He is a TV presenter and he has got his own TV-show "News of the Week".

so rosiya-1 isn't state owned (propaganda) national tv?
and that weirdo isn't actually putin appointed director of a new state owned news agency (Russia Today) that replaces Ria Novosti that probably wasn't enough north-korean like? ;-)
or what was untrue in there?
(yea, should've been "ash", not "dust", sorry)

There is a big difference between faulty reasoning of a stupid TV presenter and the official statement of the defence minister, prime minister or president. The officials said nothing like that, but a TV presenter in his own TV-show is free to say everything he want to say and the only limitation is his own stupidity. It seems you are in the same limits. Hahaha...

so you first misinterpret my original statement where i did not say anything about ministers or presidents and then just try to downplay that wacko as being absolute "niemand" in your soviet hierarchy
nice try tho ;-)
every country has some mad people but they usually don't get their own tv show on national tv

I can admit that you are very good in polemics and it's very difficult for me to make discussion, because I prefer to mention facts and it makes me being very restricted within these fact... Unlike you. You are always free to make fantasies, lies etc.

We have lots of idiots on TV because they have the right to be. Freedom of speech/expression and press is for smart ppl and dummies. If they are too stupid and ppl don't watch, then they go away unless they are using their own money to fund it.
But if u think US TV is bad... you should hear the radio lol.

Oh I have no idea. I don't watch PBS. Umm... Look for NPR on Google. You should be able to find some like what you're looking for. A lot of people don't want PBS or NPR to be paid for with taxes because they only represent one side of the political view usually... rather extremely at times. I only listened to it a few times when my dad was yelling at them

Freedom of speech...
Making violent threats isn't free speech as it sounds. Threatening to kill people isn't ok.
He won't go to prison anyway. Especially in Texas.
