I do not see what's wrong with that part of the players will have to walk. Certainly the Aberdeen map is hilly and suitable for hiding infantry especially in the middle of the map where there is a small village with buildings. Is it better when both sides have a motorized 14 players and more than 14 players to go on foot or is it better to have too many tanks or the best that each side has at its disposal by 32 tanks? smile When many vehicles available (irrelevant that the map in question) going to be the players do not keep or repair these vehicles, especially those players who do not use them, just because there are enough vehicles to almost all players. And it looks like the dice that man is one of the few fools who likes to play as an engineer and fix someone else's car smile

You're calculating it wrong, unless players hop into the tanks, only 14 at maximum can use the tanks in Aberdeen.

These additional flaks on Gazala really drive me crazy...
Plus there are 3 tanks each flag+apc and since even the n00bs use the mg's to shoot down planes nowadays I would suggest to either mod out the flaks or reduce the tanks.
Worst of this all is that they all got insane and instant hits.
The pilots are forced to go UFO and thats really not what I usually play.
What do the other pilots here think? smile

Since bf1942 is an unbalanced game to the advantage of skilled pilots, especially on public, maybe it is good to have some more AA:s.

I know I have whined about additional AAs on wake in the past but that was because axis could never get a flag on the island back then.

You can't do much in Gazala or El Alamein if the other team has air superiority, no matter the amount of planes.

Well i would even suggest to make gazala pure...
I know that pilots kinda ruin this game because anytime i take a tank and get bombed it annoys me that much that i directly grab a plane and destroy other people's game big_smile

When talking about modding madness, been playing on bf1942 modded midway and has lots of planes and ships, much better than standard midway. (by the way, thanks 70 for info on that server). Also, interesting part is that map has no time limit, just well adjusted tickets (it takes around half hour to finish round, that is to one side runs 0 tickets)
