Ok you are really going to need to provide more information be fore anyone can help you.
How did you install the server?
Which version of the server binary do you have?
Have you run any patches onto the server?
What folder does the server reside in and are you in that folder when you are trying to run server?
I Download .run file, next I opened it... Then generated files, next I uploaded Bf v.1612. I'm in this folder.
...
Perhaps it's better using Retail Version?

So is this RC2 Linux dedicated server?
Are you saying you then uploaded Windows V1.612 BF1842 exe into your Linux server?
What folder are you in?
Home/folder_name/BF1942/BF_Server
or something like this?
Please provide some more detailed information we will not be able to help if you do not.

I'm in
Root/Bff/bf1942
Here I have start.sh
Yes, it's dedicated...
I upload .run file not .exe.
So you download the .run file and then you upload the .run file, not really sure where v1.612 comes into this?
Please answer the question ***** Is this RC2?****** there should be a "read me" file that comes with your download have you followed this?
It is also not advisable to run a server as the root admin better to log on as a user and run it.
Can you supply the link where you downloaded the .run file?
I don't understand this:

I download v1.612 folder from team-simple.
Yes, this .run file is RC2... I haven't got "read me", only from folder from team-simple (how to upgrade server version)
Run server from a user didn't help.
I downloaded .run file from: fileplanet.com/129033/download/Battlefield:-1942-v1.6-Full-Server-[Linux]-RC2

Ok now we are getting some information
Your server will not run because you have yet to install it the .run file is the installation not the server.
To make it work try this as root admin from within the folder where you want to install it
sh bf1942_lnxded-1.6-rc2.run
This should install the server where you will also have a read me to tell how to start it.

But... I installed it before I wrote this post...
have you chmod file permissions?
i dont think anyone runs the server directly like that, config files must be set first with correct IP and ports, maps etc. it much be easier to use the battlefield server manager beacause it has a graphical interface that is really easy to understand, also it tells you if there is anything wrong with the config files.
if you dont like the bfsm for some reason, then you can still use it to set up the configs and then kill the process and run the server files manually.
edit: as i understand it, the start.sh build the symlink and after that you dont need it anymore, better make your own script then you can add more parameters.

Could you post a list of the contents of the install folder for your server?
I am finding it difficult to understand why you do not have the read me file that explains all of this.

I have chmod permissions.
I config IP, Ports... But how maps?
Can you give me download link to Battlefield Server Manager?
How to kill this process?
What own script? Can you explain that?

I have:
This: fileplanet.com/129033/download/Battlefield:-1942-v1.6-Full-Server-[Linux]-RC2
And This: team-simple.org/download/bf1942_lnxded-1.612-patched.tar.gz
I need this server
Something else?
More useful would be if someone could connect with team viewer and try to solve your problem, this could last long.
How?
This is Decidaded Server.
dont listen me
yyy... What?
Ill bet its your config files thats not set correctly, you can either do this manually, look in mods/bd1942/settings folder and you will see files like maplist.con, serverautoexec.con etc, most important is that the right IP and ports are set and that there is a map for the server to start with.
#! /bin/sh
# launch binary
exec ./bf1942_lnxded $@
-------------------
Or just google on bfsm for linux. its much easier.
So why wont you read any of the read me files that will tell you how to run up your server???????
This read me files They do not have any helpful in repairing this "error"

But How to restart server, when I changed configs (I did it before).
Reboot didn't help.
I haven't got serverautoexec.con
https://www.bf-games.net/downloads/204/ … linux.html
If you are on a 64bit system you need to have i386 libs installed to.
Server settings are all in the settings folder. The readme folder has an instruction on how to start server without using BFSM, the script you are using is not the right one to run your server, the script is contained in the readme file. Be aware that the instructions are for BFV and not BF1942 so look at the readme and you will need to change some of the string to match what you are trying to run, also pay special attention to underscores and dashes as they do make a difference.
