Clarify Some Rules Please:

Just little bit ago around 8:00 am Market Garden : Admin Adam was tanking from stone bridge attacking that out post, still on axis side killed couple, I bombed him then I get kicked.  2nd taken off, going around outside of map just off runway, get killed by Mr Adam and i was on allies.  I know directly turning into the fight fair game but was going straight to take off.

But you were attacking stone bridge out post and had some kills?  that made you fair game.  If you shoot from your base and kill opposite players, can't not use the no attacking main policy, when you score that makes you fair game for attack... am i correct or not?  you just got done killing 2 people, i bombed you on just opposite side of the bridge from the post.

From the first Server Rule: "... Nevertheless, it's permitted to air strike at a fireing AA gun or a shooting artillery that's inside the base."

You didn't really address his claim that you were firing a tank gun from the main base.  Are you saying that a tank doesn't fall under the category of shooting artillery, or just that you deny shooting from it?  Or did you kick him for a different incident of attacking the main base?

A question for the rules people: how far do the bases extend on Market Garden?  Is anywhere north of the river considered the Axis main base?  For that matter how far does the Allied base extend?  Does it also include the roads that pass it on both the east and west sides?  Does it end at the top of the hills above the church?

Monky is working on an actual Map of market garden the defines the lines for anyone with questions. It will end up being posted in the "Rules" section of the Forum so all players and especially new ones, can see it. I am pretty certain the Axis lines are completed and I am guessing the Allied line is not done yet but that can be better addressed by Monkey.
  Its a VERY good question Captain and one that has needed defining for some time. Nice job!

It does not answer if the kick was fair or not?

I would have to say that it was in fact not a fair kick, snipers shooting from main are fair game why should a tank not be?

If you are firing anything out of your main base, you are fair game.  The boundaries for Axis base on market garden are the river edge axis side, and the bridge entrances leaving axis side. If you are on either bridge leaving from the axis side, you are fair game. If you are swimming across the river, once you enter the water you are fair game. If you are in a plane, once you break the imaginary line that would be the water line axis side, you are fair game.

  Not to start a name calling debate, but you were by the axis side outpost building on stone bridge.  If i remember you got 2 kills, that is when i bombed you, "far enough?" a wespe inside axis base is fair game if he/she is using a sniper to scope in on a base.  I was told only that item/weapon is only target in that case, if i attacked another item along the way then yes i would be in violation of the no attacking uncapable bases.  So yes there needs to be a clarification of rules on this cause I'm confused(which isn't surprising).

I'd say that's not confusing.

If he was firing from the position you smoked him in...fair...if not...foul.

The base ends at the sandbags on  the way to stone bridge... and if the tank is active, he is allowed to get bombed anyways.

On us server the axis  base ends at river line at end of both bridges :-)

but you killed someone on the other side of that outpost adam, that is what i'm stating, yes if you haven't fired that was not the case.  You scored kills from that position - team requested assistance - flew over and saw a tank on opposite(which it was you in this case)

If that is so, then a good strategy to use to fire across the river with impunity is just to have a teammate or two stand next to your tank during your barrage.
