Buzz in ears

I don't want to overwork someone or be boring with this but past few months i have buzz in my ears (tinnitus) and with the time it got worse. I visited specialist and didn't get any good news. It's worst at night because i can't sleep too much. So, if anyone knows something about it pls tell me. Thanks.

Re: Buzz in ears

Did you expose your ears to loud volume with head phones? then it will particularly be a permanent buzz in your ears which you'll get used to, I have it but I learned to ignore it...  Are you cold and ill? Then perhaps you have some liquid in your ears that affect the eardrums like an ear infection, which is temporarily. If you can't match any alternative try to equalize at least one time a day, but you should not do this if you're cold, it will just trigger an ear infection then.

Re: Buzz in ears

There is nothing funny with health problems. I had a drumming sound in ears, could not sleep well too, which was caused by higher blood tension due to some pills I had to take. Once I stopped taking them, it vanished.
Do you know what could have caused that ear buzz? Give your ears some rest and avoid headphones.

Re: Buzz in ears

It started 2-3 months ago with low sound that didn't bother me and it got worse and it's getting worse. Specialist said it's not the ear, it's probably the spin and cervical vertebra, the ears are not damaged by any sound or something thought i was on concert just near speakers and i got that pressure in the ears that u have sometimes u dive in water and i had buzzing in my ears but that passed within few days. The problem is not in the ears it's something else

Re: Buzz in ears

i noticed that using headphone, my ears and head has less stressed when sound adjusted on 'soft',
i do reduce level of lower frequencies oh half and higher ones - to 75%; double benefit- less burden for ears and also that helps to hear enemy engines better

If you get that pressure you have when you dive deep, then you should equalize. Is it only one or both ears!? And you say you don't have buzzing anymore, so the problem is the pressure you feel? Once again try to equalize, hold your nose and blow out through your ears.

The most specialist just give you pills to get money from you.

Try therapeutic fasting.

Well, sadly you are right.

If this buzz is because of his "spin and cervical vertebra" then he should really search for therapy. I found a hungarian article about this. This can happen because of very bad posture, etc. But you can help on it, just search a good physiotherapist.

Use google translater if you want to read more.

Re: Buzz in ears

SleveN, i don't have pressure anymore and buzz which i got staying near speakers that lasted for 3-4 days. Then, after few month i got very low whisper or buzz in my right ear than i got second buzz in my right ear stronger than first one ( first one was not loud at all and i could ignore it in biggest silence) but second was a little bit stronger but again i could ignore it and sleep normally then i got 3rd sound which is similar to white snow u have on TV when u don't have signal and again i could ignore it, then i got 4th sound in my left ear than last nigh i got 2 more sounds 1 in left and 1 in right ear and it seems it won't stop on that. Specialist said that it has nothing to do with ear, ear is ok and i went to test my hearing and it's fine... sad

Re: Buzz in ears

Do you have a posture like this and pain in the upper back at the neck? This can cause tinnitus too.

Re: Buzz in ears

jesi napravio pet scan mozga ???? , čisto da se ukloni bilo koje neurološko stanje , ili infekcija, ili nedao bog tumor, etc. etc....

Re: Buzz in ears

One of my family members have the same trouble. In his case (I don't know the details... cervical vertebra or wathever) there is no cure. He has learned how to deal with it : TV or radio are constantly on with low volume at his home. So the buzz aren't the only sound in the silence. It's less oppressive.

I've no idea how he manages things at night.

Re: Buzz in ears

A block is when your neck movement for example is limited. If you have a block you can get headaches or you can feel very dizzy, tired and much more... only a specialist can loosen your block. You can not do it by yourself.

It is like this:

You mean they just don't know how to cure it. If you are ill you should try lots of stuff to get rid of it, doctors don't know everything.

My view here is that fifty percent of doctors are incompetent and ninety per cent of psychotherapists and other hippie shamans are crooks. They charge a lot for a simple placebo effect.

Re: Buzz in ears

Physiotherapists are not allowed to treat the neck. It is better to go to an Orthopedist. Compared to physios my doctor has a license to treat my neck, like Orthopedists btw... i had block a few times and it really helps. But in long therm you have to fix your posture, otherwise you will always have neck problems. My right hamstring was once tingling and it was like when it is goes numb. He said it could be the sciatic nerve and after he cracked some bones in my back it disappeared one day after.

The problem is, that about 30% of the symptoms people have are psychosomatic. That's why many times they have no idea what causes the symptoms.
