That's probably what you call a "1on1".

and in this picture, thats exactly the spot where u can cross with tank
swimming in the river from axis main on bulge - preferably head down, can be an easy way to reach the back flags
infantry in water start taking drown damage after 90 seconds. about 3.3 % per second, so it takes 90+30 seconds at full health to die from drowning. the drown-timer can be reset by briefly touching ground
Use this
thanks
That swimming tip is really nice.
unless somebody with map rights is changing next map, next map and full map rotation can be seen by pressing “show map vote” - default button is [insert]
most of you probably know this, but i still see a lot of long-time veterans using !nextmap constantly. if the server sticks to rotation, show map vote can be faster, and it displays more info
It's certainly handy and especially useful if you want to know more than just the next map. But !nextmap can be faster sometimes because you don't have to look up the current map in the list first just to find the next one.
This...
a lil’ info on what could be called “vehicle spawn blocking” ... purpose is to prevent unintentional instances of this, even though i know it wont make a difference on most servers. the following may not be 100 % correct, but overall i think it’s ok representation of how things works
most origin players and some 1.61 players don’t know what vehicle spawn blocking is, and often stand around waiting for vehicles for ages, not knowing they are the ones preventing them from spawning
details :
a group of vehicles (fighterplanes, divebombers and all land vehicles) won’t spawn if one stands in a certain area where they spawn
for land vehicles, that area is roughly equal to the ground area the vehicle covers when it has spawned, for aircrafts it’s the area the hull covers without the wings. pics :
if you stand inside that “zone”, the vehicle will never spawn. two things can trigger the spawn : jumping and moving out of the zone. jumping only works for some land vehicles, and not for planes. best solution is to briefly move out of the zone, then in again. if one or more players are in the zone and you move out or jump, the vehicle still won’t spawn
in other words : one player standing in the spawn zone will stop the vehicle from spawning
here’s a vid that demonstrates spawnblocking
a plane has been set to respawn 8 seconds after destruction. at 0:00 to 0.35 it gets blown up four times, at 0:38 to 1:03 the player is spawnblocking and at 1:04 the player moves away from the “hull zone” allowing the plane to spawn

Nice one bringing this up, can't we make a rule against it? Because sometimes some players do it and ruin it for others, it's really annoying.. Even when they don't know what they are doing wrong
