Maybe i get it wrong.
Isn´t it

"My language skills are far away from being the next shakespeare" then?

It was a joke Zody. I should have added a smiley ;-)

Any context ? tongue

Edit: Ok I think I figured it out.

"To be honest, I am fed up to explain myself when doing my admin job."

German: Ich habe es satt mich zu rechtfertigen wenn ich etwas mache.

It fits to the context of his post so I think that´s the right translation.

I have no clue, but seems like I´m a Yodish master big_smile

In this context, "suffer" means "allow" I guess. It's rarely used nowadays, it's not an archaism but I see it as a figure of speech or literary language.

To be honest, this always allows me to act right.

I also need the second opinion of a native speaker. It might be as well to get the opinion of a British person.

This was another 1:1 translation by Yoda. A German will immediately see what he meant :-D

He wanted to say "I am tired of ..."

But the rest I was unsure. I think Zody got the right translation. Seems like Yoda wanted to say: "I'm tired of always having to defend myself."

Re: Yodish/Jointish

I think it's weird when a German person is trying to translate the text (written in English) by another German person. I need the opinion of a native speaker. smile

Believe me, they can't help you. In order for them to understand they must first learn German lol

i think he means: "To tell the truth, i am tired of justifying myself every time"

etwas leid sein = to be tired of something

leiden = to suffer

to justify = rechtfertigen

das Recht = the right

Re: Yodish/Jointish

i know the easy way how to solve this mystery, we need to listen what Yoda himself ?(will)? say about it
(my solution will work if YM ?(will)? give explanation on German)
