Hey "admins" ,how long you gonna let this wookie NOT get a permban?

As per usual Merlin has been unbanned (HAPPY 70TH ban MERLIN CONGRATS)
and as per usual he talks like this ;

pics from last day and a half....

How long are admins not gonna give these repeated ban offenders LONGER bans?
How long you gonna laugh at him or get annoyed at him and not act on it when he behaves like this?
So;can you please ban or kick him EVERY time he does this?Maybe he will learn that way.
Or is that also above certain 'sacred server rules'

And don't give me the excuse that he is getting provoked,he insults anyone who kills him .....

Below my post you will soon find a long incoherent rambling by the accused person explaining it's all someone else's fault.....

Total admin silence on this again?

 

Going forward, I'd recommend playing the game quietly and report such incidents on the forum
with video and/or screenshots.  The in-game reporting has not provided the desired results.
Tread carefully.

Easy now tiger. Whatever you may think this is not our life, job or first priority when we get out of bed in the morning.

One should probably read through the logs to understand the context from your screenshots, which, let me be honest, I don't bother to do.
- My personal view on this: Yes, Merlin know he shouldn't talk like this but instead report bullies here (if he got provoked), and therefor he should be banned for his language, BUT my point is that if I bothered to read through these chatlogs, and saw players bullying him they should and would get the same treatment.

Hi Dr. ZoidbergCLAW,

I appreciate that you want to increase the awareness towards troublesome players. You chose the right place to bring up this topic.

Personally, I think none of his statements deserve a perm ban.

Banning a player retro actively for foul language without context is questionable. Do you perhaps have a particular time and map in mind? Was an admin present? Under which nick do you play on SIMPLE?

To my understanding you will get more severe punishments for violations which are based in actions like team-killing, any disruptive gameplay, cheating etc.

In certain cases words can also be damaging in the long-term such as spreading potentially defamatory and misleading information e.g.:   "... has reg help ..."

I shall then adjust my language on the server to Merlin style and I will encourage every other player to do so,since they probably get provoked many times ingame as well.

We don't even have to fear a ban.Super!

If I see you violating chat policy in-game you will get kicked and when you do it repeatedly also banned!

Unfortunately, it doesn't work the way you wish,DR.Z.C.  I've banned Merlin few times before for that - he gets unbanned by head admin. The rule to be respectful and use proper language doesn't apply to Merlin due to special interpretation of rules by some admins. I understand your frustration and sorry for you.... and the rest of normal players.

I posted proof of Merlin insulting since ingame reporting doesn't 'count' and you justify his bullshit here again ..

Maj.MerliN has now been removed from the game several times and also for longer periods of time.
Now it's been 8 weeks ban and he's been banned for several 4 weeks before.
So it's not that we don't care or we don't act.

If his behavior not changed then I ask you to let us know and the topic of Maj.MerliN is then over.
But we should always hope for the good.

These insults were done after his last unban a few days ago...;
So yea    reporting doesn't really do anything....

And sure Raketen  ;  Hope for the good but after 70 bans that seems laughable to me and many others.Gullible much?
It seems the admins aren't allowed to take the correct actions on certain persons here or don't dare to....and then they should give up the admin rights and be a regular player so TUIA can solve his own mess he creates by allowing clowns like these to continue playing.

Or are ya'll scared to give up yur 'privileges'?

Since we already started a public admin questionmark on this decision: 2 months for language? Feel like thats a bit too much Karen-like-harsh.

While Merlin ofc. should talk properly and follow the server rules, the most sensitive Karen players should maybe consider using the ignore command in their console.... It will usually be "ignore id 0, 1, or 3" when it's Merlin :-)

yes lol, some people are just super sensitive to everything, i've never been bothered by anyone using chat, unless it's hardcore spam or something like AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA in the middle of ur screen

Not really,but anytime I talked back to numbskull insulters like Merlin or supertroll 000 warnings start to fly in chat that I am not allowed to start arguments on the server...funny ey?
Stuff like this should be settled quickly on the server by admins when he does this instead of me having to 'report' here.
If there was no insult rule everyone would be forced to type 'ignore' about 84 times every match in console...
I don't think anyone wants that.

I'm happy for you if you don't suffer these verbal abuses online or are disturbed by them      but some are...and in this case it's been going on for years.....
So yea,if you want to use woke speech,  this Kevin is happy about the result and glad to have reported this.

I will take the hate and disagreement that comes with it with my chin up
