Alright, folks, Battlefield 1942 turned 20 today.
Don't really feel like saying much. You know everything...
Just don't be sad and don't drink much
Better take your Thompson or Zero and make a cool video to help this game stay alive.

Still got 9 days to go before its 20th anniversary of release in Europe.

It was released 10 days earlier in north America, because they estimated it would take that much longer for those players to get a handle on it.

coming late to the party - its not just that our beloved bf1942 turned 20 - the hardcore player base did that twenty year round too. thats quite a stretch of time - that coincidentally spawns over the advent of FPS games and the bf-franchise particularly.

in this regard: happy twenty years down the road. U guys are a terrific bunch.
