Hungarian Revolution of 1848 (15 March 1848 – 4 October 1849)

The Hungarian Revolution of 1848 or fully Hungarian Civic Revolution and War of Independence of 1848–1849 (Hungarian: 1848–49-es polgári forradalom és szabadságharc) was one of many European Revolutions of 1848 and was closely linked to other revolutions of 1848 in the Habsburg areas. Although the revolution failed, it is one of the most significant events in Hungary's modern history, forming the cornerstone of modern Hungarian national identity.

congratulations on your independence in austria. So do you have a celebration about 173 years of Turkish captivity because we helped you preserve your language and culture or you would all be speaking german now.

No, we don't celebrate, let alone beleive in anything like that.
However we have many works of art inspired by the great heroic deeds against the Ottoman Empire of our heroes. Books, poems, paintings, sculptures, monuments which indeed helped preserve our culture and language

which heroes are you talking about against the Ottoman empire? Layosh who was crushed by the superior Turkish army on the battlefield? if you want to see your nation as heroes, you must first have never been in captivity. we Turks have never been captured in any period of history and we have enslaved hundreds of nations. we did this not with the help of others, but with the greatness of our own race.  if you had not mixed with the slavs and still carried the central asian gene, i would respect the hungarians. but after mingling with the slavs, you betrayed Attilas legacy. You have lost your warrior character by breaking away from your culture.

Let's not start a dick measuring contest please. I was talking about our culture. I couldn't give a rats ass about what your ancestors did to which you had zero contribution to and so have I to mine. I rather care who I'm going to be in this world and so should you. Or you could just go on random gaming forums and insult people based on their nationality. Knock yourself out buddy.
