Reminds me on the vids of Bf Soldier. No special Aim, but regs like a God, ... oh, sorry, ... a King.

Also, that you are always earlier. Just look the angle of your enemies. They see you later, or let's say they see you on a different position.

You are also hard to hit.  It's not because all others are noobs, it's just because they see you a bit on a different position.

(Those moments, in a close fight, you shoot at an enemy in front of you, you see him shooting 70-90° in another direction, but he hits/kills you).

I checked the video. This is what i called "not fair play".
While you shooting hitbox feels like 10x size. Easy hits.
Simple example.

He shot two shots. Look how long that hit indicator remains on... The moment he shot them the guy was not that far away. The hitbox is off here, but it's nothing out of what can happen with a normal game installation and certainly not 10x size.

Jumps on point, regs like it should. You're playing with fire, getting a game work like it's supposed to. Noone has done that for years now, everyone's been playing a different glitchy version of 42'. Imagine the raw talent we'd see if everyone had it the same.

Have you tried playing engineer with expacks; is changing from expack to "blow off" sticking to "blow off" or (buggingly) swapping back and forth like it usually does?

@seventy: I believe Beer from Asstralis play BF1942 through Ubuntu. At least I know he is playing on Linux 100%.

because i need to shoot 2 metres in front, and he is shooting not in front, but behind the body and still hits xD

Yep, it's definitely working on Ubuntu for a lot of people, just not for me for some reason. Maybe it's just some simple tweaking, but I gave up. I think I might try out Drauger after I've made a backup of my partition.

Thanks Doubti.  The buggy expacks are still present, unfortunately. 

Yes, Beer plays through Ubuntu with minimal problems.  I tried Ubuntu, Ubuntu Gamepack, Mint, Pop_Os and Fedora.  I got them all working with BF42 to some degree, but none gave me the same results as Drauger.  Pop Os and Ubuntu were quite easy to get BF42 working. 

@To whom it may concern:  I got a lot of help from Linux discord mods and wouldn't want everyone to go gung ho, unless you know what you're getting into, except for Arkos of course!  Seventy might have a valid point regarding my hardware configuration.  I might have just really lucked out this time.

It's been consistently this good, as you see in the video, for weeks now with no change.   I don't play every day (or week), but when I do it's a pleasure and much more enjoyable than what used to be the lottery of logging on to a server, only to be bitterly disappointed that my reg isn't nearly the same as it was the night before!

Yeah the expack thingy might actually be server sided now when I think about it.
