50 euro who goes to killers house and lays him out
I do understand, Killer, I'm just presenting it the way I see it. And I got the clear feeling that you would also have prefered and liked to see Butcher and DrNick excluded for example.
But you don't seem to understand all I'm saying: Just because you and some others "have a problem with" certain players it gives you the right to exclude them from the entire game. It's pathetic and it's wrong. You should do like me = welcome them and do your best to own them in wars. Trust me there is no better feeling than watching TheWars and Nameless' match recordings and hear your opponent and their frustration and suffering. I'm not trying to be arrogant or a bad person, but trust me it is a great feeling.
I don't claim my speech to be more valuable than others, Userx, I'm just sharing my opinion and Killer still haven't answered my question either.
I don't see any specific ego chasers in the inf group. When Butcher, Nick, Deeko, Oliva and others held it active I saw a nice group where players shared common interest. Surely there is a lot if tryhards and egos still within the game. I even faced a team this season who benched "weaker" players to gain and advantage vs Asstralis even though we were the clear underdogs.
And I got the clear feeling that you would also have prefered and liked to see Butcher and DrNick excluded for example.
Sad to hear. But seems we have nothing to talk about then. Enjoy ur Sunday

Yo, that's not cool.
I've experienced the same sound when using my new earphones that I bought 3 years ago or so. Haven't used them since then. Luckily I still have two pairs of my old favourite earphones .
However, I don't think this would have translated to a recording. So it is somewhat weird, but it could still be hardware or a driver causing this type of sound.
Lecter, my friend, are you leaving again? Welcome to the club.
There are three things you can watch forever: fire, water and other people leaving Battlefield 1942.
And by the way, you all forgot that I'm the worst person here, I'm not getting hate speeches for a few weeks already, mostly because I was busy though. Instead of blaming each other, could you please do me a favour?

@nameless blayt !
In Asstralis' last 3 league wars I had to limit myself a bit, because it got to an ownage point where I was afraid not to be "trusted"................................
Many posts without a Random short video from the Battlefield ! Humm let's change this, I hope it will give the smile back to everyone...

Well we haven't really been talking. You haven't really said anything or answered anything. But yeah my memory might be wrong, since apparently you didn't try to get Butcher banned from the Simple servers or chat spam him to death when he rejoined. Well w/e. Hope u had a good sunday too :-)
Karlson
I had a lot of problems with drivers
I played some years with something called the "chipmunk effect" without knowing, later when i changed computer it took a long time to get used to the change in sound. https://www.dell.com/community/Laptops- … td-p/70540
Here is a tip if you want to reduse backgroung noise a bit.

Haha, nice! But the episode with stealing flag and the music from Snatch is my favourite.
The distance from which he can hear enemy weapons at that loudness can only be achieved by changing the sound values. True is that changing computers and isps and your chair can make a big difference regarding sounds, hit regs and overall compability, simply not to such extent. No blame, hes trying to make it easier cause he is lagging after all, be it the proxies he is hiding behind or something else.
I'll allow it

I think the only chair having any big difference regarding sounds is probably yours.
I've experienced the exact same sound environment without changing any values just by using different earphones.
Perhaps I should add that all my earphones have external sound cards so they do in fact change the sound at DAC level.
I personally believe that this was a bug in processing the, arguably a bit outdated, audio codec that bf uses.
You need to present me with a chair that can do such a thing and then tell me the likelihood any of us uses such a chair.
If a sound is audible then it IS present in its respective channel on the digital stream and it CAN be changed by hardware or any software operating on driver level without the need to change anything in the game.
Now, any change made to the game files outside the ones that are explicitly allowed is a definitive 'no-no' at least in regard of the rules of the league community. Other changes are subject to individual consideration.
Changing your ISP is allowed. Changing your hardware is allowed. Once we enter the zone of manipulating hardware settings we enter a grey-zone where most things are generally allowed as well though.
What is seen or heard in the video can be the result of a hardware or driver, arguably operating faulty, which is certainly allowed. It can also be the result of an intentional sound modification - e.g. equalizers and other sound capture drivers that let you capture sound and process, or a modified sound driver itself - which would be in the grey. And lastly it could be a modification of the game files as proposed by you.
If you can't present the chair. At least present better evidence why it should be the latter scenario, otherwise it's just not enough for a condemnation since we will have to give the benefit of the doubt.
Alright, sure, let's give him the benefit of the doubt, that he has a faulty sound card or earphones that cause the EXACT same sounds as changing the value in the folder. I only find it a little bit weird because he said he's been playing with these sounds for a long time now and has no idea what is causing it. But in his posts to this forum he keeps helping people with every little technical issue, bf42 related and non bf42 related. Keeps changing the values in every folder, modifying DLL's etc...

He's guiding others to powers he himself cannot possess!
Everyone has knowledge gaps. So do I. I just happen to have experienced this kind of thing first-hand without any modifications. I don't even know who this guy is.
That he knows a lot about the game doesn't mean he knows everything about the game. Just like I do not.
If I had the same knowledge gap and would be easier to jump conclusions I would probably band waggon the suspicion train. But in this case I have good reason not to and in general I always advocate balance and patience when it comes to condemning cheaters.
Sadly, I wasn't an admin when you got banned in the league community deeko. I doubt it was entirely justified the way it was explained to the public.
However, deleting your discord and some of your latest comments here also in conjunction with what your brother said don't let you shine in the same good light anymore as when you first started to try to make amends.
Unlike DoubTi I think it is necessary to control and persecute cheating so nobody feels like cheating can easily go without consequence. So in general I welcome your attempts of investigating videos closely also that of people which appear to be specially respected by the community.
I identify it as a valuable addition to every community still involved in the game. However, you guys could still amp your "style" a bit and you need a stoic patience if you want to repent for things the majority of the community believes you were involved in.
If you're easily shaken in your convictions and get agitated by the likes of killer then you'll elongate your way.
If some of you are interested in exemplary investigations in controversial cheating cases then I'd recommend having a look at this recent video produced in the aftermath of the Dream cheating controversy in Minecraft:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3Yzk-3SZfs
That's how a community could deal with cheating in a mindful way. However, it requires to actually sit through the 75+ minutes to get a grasp on what kind of meticulousness is required when a case is complex and hard to dissect.
Thank you for explaining mitch. That there is a higher chance of a glitch here than the guy simply changing values. The proof isnt what I or deeko write here, its the video lulzek posted and we just mentioned it, also bringing a very possible explanation. Anyone could have, but a few would have. You are prone to overcomplicate things?
I also know some other details about him that you dont, hence my conclusion.
Just raising awareness

I never said there is a higher chance. I'd probably give it 50/50. But it's not definitive enough to condemn him unlike what you've been doing.
I may be overcomplicating things but you're certainly doing the opposite.
Well I've learnt my lesson explaining stuff in great depth. You also should consider the audience reading this, what they cant understand they will disregard.
And the man of the hour hasn't made a single comment, everyone has been speaking for him. I think it shouldn't be hard for him to prove that it's a driver or hardware issue. I could be wrong. If he wants to of course, i mean, he's not owning anyone or taking high scores, a little abracadabra goes unnoticed.
Lulzekk?

He asked me, I recommended him not to waste more time with deeko etc unless it would be really needed.
I'm here for the random short videos from the Battlefield ^^
you are complaining about someone who got a little surround sound benefits; what about "dll Injection shit"? we had endless posts about it years ago.
I don't know why you had to have endless posts about it. Its a dead end anyway, could have just asked me.
just wondering, if you change somehow your connection value's (is that even possible?), will that make you harder to hit?
Because some players (i won't tell their name), are really shit to hit.
Just wondering why that is.
How to use sound in-game.
