I think to conclude this event it would be great to make a frag highlights video of the cup.
I was thinking we could have someone with good to excellent video editing skills make a great montage of some of the best frags of the tournament.
Jim2102 is really good at making videos and has made frag highlights videos in the past, I believe for BF2. So if you feel like jumping on this project Jim, please do
Here are some general ideas:
- 5 minutes long
- A split screen perspective of some of the frags of the Finals (Semi Finals and the Final)
- Every contestant uploads their RAW video clips to a Google Drive I will set up. So we want your RAW video footage, not what you uploaded to YouTube. Doesn't matter how big the clips are, I have unlimited storage on my Google Drive. Zipping video files is useless, because these can't be compressed.
- Editing should be top notch. We want the emphasis on some of the best frags. Effects like slow-mo are encouraged, to really show the aiming of the players
- Intro should be short but sophisticated
- Country flags for the player frags as an overlay. The flags shouldn't be too big
- Music should be something with a kick. I would recommend rock or heavy metal
- The gun sounds shouldn't be muted, but their volume should be lowered so the music is really the main thing you hear
- If I bother enough, I'd like to do a commentary of the second Final round, and if I do it, it can be added to the Final frags
That's all for now, if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
I don't think all the participants have their raw video files, I know I don't.
I feel like raw footage would be too much of a hassle anyways, especially raw mp4's, which can lag my video editing program at times. Honestly, me just downloading all the videos from YouTube would be our best bet. It might not look as crisp but it'd still be something.
As for music choices, I dont really listen to rock or heavy metal, so if you know a song in these genres then feel free to suggest one. I've seen a lot of infantry videos have "chill rap" type music. I was thinking something like this could be a possibility: https://youtu.be/-pY__IYHYMc

In this video, they used a System of a Down song to help build the tension. I think it should be used in the montage. Pretty epic stuff.
But yeah, if you decide to make the montage, pick any song you like.
Anybody interested in this or?
