Got a call from my doc's PA that said my test from yesterday came back negative. My work requires that I take 1 more test in 10-14 days before I can go back though, which is lame but makes sense. They just want to be extra careful. Working from home is getting old.
I spent all morning yesterday getting loads of tests. No fever. Pulse ox is 96 (she thinks it'll be back up to normal in a couple weeks). My ABG wasn't "great" but she said it's not uncommon for those who recovered. My lungs don't sound great and X-ray confirmed that I still have pneumonia, but not bad anymore. She gave me antibiotics just in case it's secondary because I do have a history getting it and she wouldn't be surprised. Now I'm just hoping this damn cough will stop -.-
She asked if I'd be a convalescent plasma donor after my pneumonia shit goes away. Why not? They'll give me $50, juice, and free cookies ^.^
So yesterday while at work .. (im head cook in our irish pub) we have had some ppl in training to be security guards right .. so the day before some poor guy died over night about 70km away from my town, he was feeling sick for a while, his partner is feeling sick too. they were tested and came up positive to covid. One of the women in our training course was in direct with these ppl but still chose to come to our pub for the training
when we found out (she talking during training to someone and they told us) we had to kick them all out, disinfect the whole place, shut the pub and wait for her to get test results back..
If they KNOW they were exposed and are knowingly putting people at risk, then they should be fined and given isolation orders until they take a test.

yes I agree .. twist in this damn story though .. we found out yesterday that the dude who died has been dying of cancer for a long time, he fell over a few days ago and hit his head, hadn't been the same since and went down hill quickly from there. This was a prime example of ignorant media blowing it up all out of proportion for headlines and ratings. shits me to tears
None of the ppl involved were infected with covid it was all media story. 400 people were tested in that town who were in contact with that guy and there is not one single case of covid there
so in this case I wouldn't charge anyone but the blatantly ignorant media circus because our pub, a bakery and some others have lost business over this shit .
I'm happy to hear you will be ok Sunshine

I've heard that in singapore, they did some experiment that after 12 days, infected individual can't spread the virus, it's like expired... i think i read it somewhere....

I was supposed to go back to work today. I had an additional test last week because my work required it before I go back. It was negative and all is well. So I drive to work this morning thinking yay! Back to normal! They stop me in the front saying my doc didn't send them the "all clear" info about me so they can't let me work. Call my doc's office and they said they forgot *facepalm* so now I go tomorrow. Everyone treating me like a leper lol
But at least I scheduled a time to donate plasma. I hate needles so I just say "I just scheduled a time to get $50 and free cookies"

You are NOT a leper of course and the needle for giving blood, so quick and DONE! And you help save another human. PLUS get the $50.00!!!!
Heck I would donate TWICE if I could. For the cookies.........NOT the money.

Sad to hear, but you are young and you can handle that.
It's just a matter of mathematical probability some of the community also get Corona.

Stay strong, please, and do as your doctor says.
We have the last period of self-isolation, until the end of the month, I think. I'll be missing this time very soon, cause now I sleep well, I eat a lot when I want to, it also helps to save at least 2 hours a day cause there is no need to spend time to the job route. I literally can start to work after waking up not even wearing my pants.
...
2 hours is a lot, (Swiss is small).
In Asia some people drive 3-5 hours with the train to get to the Jobs place.
If i have to drive 15 minutes, i think for myself it's too far.
...
It could be less but the traffic jam eats the half of time.
Tested positive
Get well!

3-5 hours is crazy. For me its 1 hour in our small Czech Republic.
Gonna be all different soon..
Drive-Thru Covid Testing. "You want fries with that"?https://i.postimg.cc/0NyCB5hk/covidtest1.jpg

Their monstrous Q-Tip wreaked havoc on my nostrils causing rapid sneezing during the swab.
It's a sensitivity condition that I deal with (touching the outside can cause sneezing at times)
Where is this?

CVS is a large Drugstore chain in USA. They have testing available in their stores,
as well as these drive-thru's in various states.
Testing in the store requires a couple days to process. The drive-thru is a half hour.

14'000 dead Pigs in River.
Those Pigs died because of G4-Swine Flu.
(G4 Virus is a Mix between SwineFlu- and BirdFlu- (H1N1) and an Influenza Virus).
They thought it's a great idea to throw them in the River, instead of paying the costs to burn them in a Incinerator.
10% of the workers at Pig mast have allready anticorp vs. this Virus.
At the Moment the Virus does not go from human to human.
