- Effective noise reduction of a pc :
Place it in a closet / another room and extend all the cables to the monitor, mouse keyboard, etc. Most pc cables can be extended to 20+ meters. The case’s reset and power buttons can be extended to 20+ meters too with thin power cables.
easier networking =
- Wifi on home + high range
- Plugged in the cables to electrical
- own the wifi
- put anywhere on a location that have something opened like window or etc that can make the wifi signal go in the room
since yesterday i know:
- clean your pc sometimes, especially ventilator, it might be dirty and your cpu is overheating
open your pc, clean it, close your pc
- Effective noise reduction of a pc :
Place it in a closet
PC needs airflow. Putting in a closet will drastically increase the risk of overheating.
@Lecter: no specific product needed. Usefull objects to remove dust: tissue, tooth brush, swiffer duster, ...
Lecter ... use your fingers or a vacuum cleaner .... don't use any cleaning agents.
And the stuff that neeeds to be cleaned is called the "heat sink". It typically gathers much more dust than the fan / propeller
They look like this when they need to be cleaned :
https://www.google.dk/search?um=1&hl=da … rMFmhwZPho:
If the heatsink has too much dust in it, the cpu or gpu may overheat like jojo said. Their temperatures are shown in some BIOS and loads of apps can show them too.

this one could help you Lecter:
clean your mouse
....thx I mean do u use anything special to clean it? Any product or just dust cleaner?
1. Plug out the CPU heat sink with fan and video card.
2. Set your vacuum cleaner to blow out mode and clean the heat sink with fan, video card fan, power supply unit and the rear panel of the case.
3. Remove the old thermal grease (for example, with ethanol and tissue) from processor and video card if you have it.
4. Apply the new thermal grease.
5. Plug in it back.

I disagree.
Depends on room temperature, closet size, pc heat generation, heat spreading and oher factors.
9 out of 10 regular home pcs will have no problems in a big closet @ 20 degrees celcius room temp.
I once kept a gaming pc turned on a couple of months in a small closet. Never came close to overheating.
But the pc in another room solution is typically better.

My girlfriend and I sleep in 3 meters far from my PC and there is no the same problem. The noise of fans is like the clock ticking that you just ignore. My PC is up 24 hours a day.

- Installing an operating system from a usbstick is often much easier, faster and more fussfree than from optical disks ; cds / dvds / blu-ray etc. Apps like YUMI, Win2flash and many others can be used to place the OS on the stick for installing.

Can i damage something while opening it?
If you didn't damage anything opening the bonnet of your car, you can open the laptop up and clean it out. Be careful.

Of course you can damage it if you don't take care. But it depends on the laptop. Some are easier to open then others and some have a hatch for the vent. It is very helpful, because you don't have to open the whole laptop. I had a HP laptop once and i just put the vacuum cleaner on the vent without opening the laptop at all. After that it was clean. It made so much noise like an airplane.
haha thanks nathan, i understood what you ment in 1st post, and at end of video i cant really see the monitor is clean, everything is black.
i use air compressor to clean up , after which the component (read ; cooler ) looks like brand new, just don't let it spin, while spraying/aspirating, hold it with one finger, in order not to produce el.current that might damage your mainboard, etc....

Especially crowded if Assi is in there and won't come out.
