The filthy Chinese are renown for not telling the truth to their own people, let alone outsiders. Indonesia is another country that is under reporting the current problem there! But the Brazilian president takes the cake for being the worlds most idiotic leader of any country. https://apnews.com/b21a296383694c6726d03e027134daf1
How to stay home and don't go mad? What are you people doing during the self-isolation? I spent three days at home and it was terrible. I'm really tired of a couch, I cannot eat that much anymore but I continue to eat. I want some physical activity but the only place where I can get fresh air is balcony. I ate almost everything from the freezer and hence there was a reason to go outside to the shop. Instead of this, I went for a walk to the park and it was abandoned: no people in the streets, nobody is jogging, no bicyclists, no one is walking his dog, no one is walking on his own.
I stay at home and make mods. It’s fun.
i'm having holiday in turkey and yea bit boring but i have my younger brother to cheer me up and teaching how to play bf1942, it's pretty fun, you just have to be in the habit of it and you'll fell comfortable in your place, tovarich!

Luxembourg with highest infection rate per capita:
Infected: 2,319
Population: 613,894
I think they will be the first nation to be immune against this virus.
Bad news. We have to get a special QR-code via mobile app to get permission to go outside like to throw out a trash, walk a dog, buy some food etc.
yeah that damn app that controls peoples activity

Not sure if it's effective. Too bad that Spain has almost the same amount of infected and almost the same death rate as Italy.
i knew we were going to have a situation like this in the first posts of this topic, i was very worried because no body did nothing back in carnival days (holydays). Spain have a lot of tourist all over the year. we messed up with carnivals days and many manifestations before they did something about this. We also reacted too late with unemployment, a lot of people have been fired from their work ( more than a million people). We will face a worst economic scenario compared to what happened in 2008, it seems that we did not learned anything.
For some reason nothing much is being done at all here. We do happen to have one of the worst government i have seen in my lifetime, but many people behaving like idiots to.

I think it's a good strat what sweden is doing if only the public citizens could listen to the health authorities guide lines. and take individual responsibility for their action. We do want the virus to spread in order to reach herd immunity but at a small phase to not over load hospital, seems obvious.
To shut down societies proves have only short term effect and should be saved for when it's actually needed. Maybe it's time for sweden soon. Maybe you are an epidemiologist, i don't know. It's 18 months prognosis for vaccine, so we can expect at least a year before a vaccine will be here and a partial part of that time should be reserved for herd immunity. It's gonna have huge impact on economy if we freeze society for a longer period of time, that will harm more than do good. Not only an economical depression that is a huge health hazard, but also mental depression.
The consequence happened in Italy doesn't imply it will happen in Sweden. And if it happens... it's the public citizens to blame for not following health authorities advice. We all share common responsibility right now.
People like you and me should just be calm and stay updated

self isolation .. well yes it sucks .. we are currently still allowed to go out to get essentials, so once a week I visit bottle shop to buy vodka and woolworths to do my groceries
other than that I do yard work and mow the weeds, yes weeds cos I don't have nice grass lol but it gives me something to do . I also use weed killer on the fences so I don't need a whipper snipper. ( I grew up on a farm)
washing and house cleaning
when I get sick of cleaning I play games and hope I can talk to someone in discord so I don't go insane (I live alone)
other than that I drink and dance to music to keep me happy
then come here to connect to my few friends I have met here
