Just an idea for a small bf42 improvement. I use bocage-coop as testing ground, file here for test or building. http://bfo.pm/simple_maps/
Everyone is welcome to contribute with ideas and/or testing out own stuff.

PS its the bots driving
It's cool! Is that all possible to mod serverside so noone has to dl something? I know from other mods that jeeps had guns modded to it for example.
Very good!
I would like to see this at the SiMPLE server maps
BUD!!!!!!! COOOOOOL.... oh the extra seat in jeep... i NEED THAT SOO MUCH (i as in: OUR TEAM...)
Finally someone who makes a MOD that is not completely change the dynamics of a map... ooooooh boy... NEAT... can or will this put in to work in SIMPLE?
(i know tuai is mega busy, u guys should give him some room actually hahahaha...)
And yeah good question Kobra... its all server side RIGHT?

Its for building a "simple-map" (or maps), and yes i think small things like this can go a long way for improving gameplay.
Here is an idea, try to make a moving controlpoint, maybe on a train or something like that.
I could try make this work serverside, not sure its possible tho.

A moving CP is possible if it’s attached to something that’s not a PCO or can’t be destroyed. Otherwise it will result in a CTD once the object it’s attached to is destroyed. Maybe a static object with an addtemplated car engine?
I remember a few people over at bfmods were talking about adding a CP to the trains (from FHSW for example), but Mamba is right, it will result in a CTD if the train is destroyed. An idea is to make the train undestroyable, but that also becomes a problem because when the round ends, it makes all the PCO/vehicles in the map disappear. I like the idea of a static object with a vehicle engine though

(PCO = Player Controlled Object)
I will try connecting to objects from existing maps, if it works we dont have to place every objects in each map, but just linking everything to a "resource map"
I have plenty ideas... not so much time... and the tools are not installed. I did some modding for BF1942 long long time ago....
I would say make the WAKE myth become true. Does anyone know about the little island in the middle of the wake island?
Its been said that in the middle of the water body there was a small "knive island". They called it "knive island" because soldiers who had to be disciplined were send there for a day to cut potato's for the kitchen.
How about we add that island back with some cool SiMPLE greeting textures in there and we use it for knive fights? If u want to put a spawn there i say make it an ALLIED spawn... it will balance wake a bit also since USUALLY axis wins on this map because they have a sea base that is sometimes hard to take down (carrier).

They never found the potato's and the little Island though... its still a myth. I think it was right about here:
I used google maps and some SOHO satellite imagery to try to find the KNIVE ISLAND... and this is my best guess on where it was many years ago.
Anyway did anyone ever hear the story about the dutch ghost sniper who made many kills close to Arnhem bridge? (market garden map)...
Apparently this sniper had NO RANK nor he served any particular army. Very creepy story! Some women who lived in Arnhem claim to have seen him after they heard loud bangs from a sniper rifle. They say he looked like a ghost and had a long beard.

We did find a lot of knives in the beach sand at spot nr 2
I believe the KNIVE ISLAND must have been about around spot number 1
On satellite photos there is nothing to see...
But on this arial photo you can clearly see that something is higher up in the water at that location.
So if you ask me, that must have been the infamous disciplinary "cut patato's till u drop" island.
