Winter Olympics!

The Winter Olympics is here! The only Olympics that matter

What is everyone's favorite winter sport? My favorite is snowboarding. I used to snowboard every winter, but now I live where it never snows :-/

I'm really pulling for snowboarders Shaun White (obvs), Chloe Kim, and Mr. Yooper Nick Baumartner! Mikaela Shiffrin is my favorite alpine skier too.

I voted "alpine skiing" figure'n that includes slalom & downhill. That sport ROCKS! Damn Norwegians always rule it though, they're the ones to beat.

I thought the opening ceremony's entertainment sucked except for the drones, their light show was a trip. But hey, it's hard to compete against Canada's a few years back.

Alpine skiing all the way. Done it more than a few times in places like Sölden and Flachau, Austria. Worth it in every way

Jamie Anderson killed it at the last olympics when they added slopestyle and has been doing awesome at the X games for years.

YES!

She got nearly a perfect score at the Olympics by pulling off back-to-back 1080's yesterday! She did that at the X-games a couple years ago and became the first and only women to ever do back-to-back 1080's (and still is only one to do it) and got a perfect score at those X-games... the 2nd perfect score by any snowboarder in history.

And those damn russians kicked our ass's in hockey, 4-0. The American's looked tired too me in that game.

I've found myself rooting for USA #1, Canada #2 and the brit's #3. I was kinda rooting for the South Koreans too until the bitch won the short track speed skating. I thought she shoulda got a DNF for making the Brit crash.

I was surprised by Lizzy Yarnold from GB who won the womens skeleton.

Norway is crazy dominant in skiing (not including Alpine events) just like the Netherlands are at speed skating.

We dominated snowboarding, which isn't a surprise. Mikaela Shiffrin got a gold in giant slalom, but Vonn didn't get a medal yet... we'll see if she can on Wednesday.

I didn't watch these Olympics yet and I am not sure I will be. The last games shows we have the strongest team, at least for Winter Olympic. This time we have a lot of sportsmen not even from top 10, because the majority are banned due to political engagement.

I didn't watch these Olympics yet and I am not sure I will be. The last games shows we have the strongest team, at least for Winter Olympic. This time we have a lot of sportsmen not even from top 10, because the majority are banned due to political engagement.

Shouldn´t this be in the server ban appeal section?

actualy no, Arkos, there are catched dope users who should be banned, but many others banned with no proofs, while there are other countrie's athlets who had been catched but present there.. and banned flag is something amazing lol

They actually didn't. Read the official documents by the International Olympic Committee. In a nutshell, Americans got a Russian guy who told them that Russians made a super-steroid cocktail for sportsmen and then made a hole in the anti-doping laboratory to replace all doping tests of Russian sportsmen. There are really no proofs and no positive tests that prove that all Russians are on doping. The tests were good, just words of one guy. All were banned because they didn't prove they weren't implicated. You and the others can read it from the official Olympic sources.

anyone thinking there are people who are active in proffesional sports and don't use drugs no matter what country person is from, is braindead

everyone doing proffesional sports uses steroids or any other banned substances lmao, the drug tests are so easy to sneak around or surpass aswell
it's all about performing at the highest level possible, no matter what risk u have to take getting there
