Do you think you have what it takes to be the best Flettner pilot in the game? Now is the time to put your skills to the ultimate test.

In this BF1942: Secret Weapons tournament, 8 pilots will fight in a knockout tournament that starts at the Quarter-Finals.

The tournament map will be the Flettner Arena map, which can be downloaded here. You must have the Secret Weapons expansion in order for this map to work. Install instructions are provided in the README file which is found inside the "Flettner Arena.zip" file.

In this cup, there is room for 8 contestants. Signing up for the cup is done on a first come, first served basis. All cup registration will be handled on this topic, and cup progress will be posted here. There is no need to register anywhere else, nor is there any need to track the progress of the cup on a third-party website.

At present, I have been told that it does not show up in the master server list, so you must add the server manually using the IP:Port combination in the banner to join it. The server password is "tournament" (without brackets).

On the first post of this thread, the cup start date, list of contestants and progress will all be available.

To sign up for the cup, simply provide the following information:

A) Your nickname for the tournament
B) A date and time when you are available
C) Country

Requirements to be a cup contestant:
1. You must be registered on the SiMPLE forums
2. You must have BF1942: Secret Weapons of WWII expansion
3. You must download and install the Flettner Arena map on your computer

The sign up process will close once we have 8 registrations. When the full number of contestants is reached, the "CUP LIVE DATE" (the date on which the cup starts) will be posted here.

If someone wants to live stream the matches, you are free to do so. As a cup contestant you are also encouraged to film your matches, but this is not mandatory.

Match rules
1) All matches will take place on the SiMPLE RtR/SW Tournaments server
2) The game mode for the cup is Conquest, you must fight for the middle flag in the air and hold it
3) Match time is set to 20 minutes, for only 1 round
4) It is forbidden to attack ground targets, you may only score a frag if both helicopter pilots are airborne
5) Attacking the enemy uncap is forbidden. Combat vs the enemy engages as soon as one pilot leaves his main base
6) It is permitted to retreat to your main base to repair. Helipads are available in the main bases for that purpose
7) Screenshots of every match results must be taken at the end of each round, or the match will not be valid

i beat 99% of pilots with some trash mouse i bought years ago when i was a pilot, still could see the obvious pay to win instruments that help you take turns easier and lose less speed

my moon inf video was made in 2015 where i played with like 80 ping in clanwars on german servers while i play from the netherlands

Then go buy those "instruments of greatness" and show us true powah. Joystick gives you slight advantage over mouse and kb, first you need to learn to fly with it tho. Your skills just doesnt magically appear when you buy it. It takes some time to fly high lvl atleast in 1v1dfs. My instrument is half-broken logitech 3d pro, it was 30e on retail. Yes im sure you rekt those 99% pilots, must have been great pilots xD
