Added some minor changes to Omaha, which may improve and balance the map. Allies have an extra spawn point which can be used as a strategy to attack the flags.

I just played the map : Good job tuia !!! It's many more funny, and good idea for APC as spawn point ! It's well-balanced I think : Allied can get at the top of the hill but it's always hard to take the flag.

hated the apc as spawn point. Axis only have to nade that spot/corner. They dont even need to show their faces.

I think adding APC as spawn point was good idea, only problem was ppl drove it on hill and thus being quickly destroyed by defgun-panzer.

True, RamYam. The best would be to drive APC under the first left bunker. Once the bunker is secured, it's almost impossible for axis to shoot it, and allied have no more to run accross the beach. It's better to motivate people choosing zook.

What this map really needs is ladders..... Probably not possible to mod, but it would be a great way to help the Allies a bit more.
They even used it back in WWII (Pointe du Hoc).

modding ladders up the hill is definitely possible and not too hard if i was right!

I don't think that's possible to add ladders server-side, someone correct me if i'm worng.

you can add ladders but they will be invisible, you can use something visible to mark out where they are tho. There is code for jump plates and teleporters and such to but thats more kindergarten stuff i think.

I think its hard to mod that map without changing the concept of it.

Today I've played the new modded version and i like it, It's gonna be better and better, just needs some further tweaking.

Yes it is not as impossible anymore. I would perhaps consider adding an arty on the left side as well, as these are perfect to push back tiger+p4 and also take out snipers in the bunkers. I got a decent amount of kills with the arty today

just hold medpack and hope they focus on your teammates. run past them, try not to be noticed. works surprisingly often!

when you reach the last base, see what the situation there is.. maybe even take a tank on your way up

last time when I played omaha, I walked up there twice in first 5 minutes, the second time we won the game.. not impossible at all!
