Coop and Conques Modes don't work

Though Team Simple's bf1942 works very well in singleplayer mode and over coop and other modes, over a dedicated server, when I attempt to run a coop, conquest, or other game mode from the menu, the game crashes to the desktop while loading a map. Is there is fix for this?

You run it as admin? And BfSM too?

Yes, run as admin, but bfsm has never worked correctly for me. I just run it from the bf menu. Multiplay, create game, select mode, maps, etc.

run bfsm as xp service pack 2 and as admin

So your game crashes when you try to create a game from its menu?
Try this

Edit this line in your VideoDefault.con in EA Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings folder to:

renderer.setFullScreen 0

It may produce an error dialog message when running the game in windowed mode.

It can be it's because of a map. Do you have custom maps in Bf1942 folder?
