Mini League Winter Season 2022 [REGISTRATION]

Hello SiMPLE players,

Mini League is looking for a brave team of European infantrymen to join us as we launch our first 2v2 competition on North American soil.

Join us as four teams compete in a short introductory season that will start on February 14th, 2022, to end on March 6, 2022. We are allowing one team from outside of North America to compete.

WHAT

For the official launch of the Battlefield 1942 Mini League in North America, we are hosting a short introductory league season on Infantry Ladder maps. The format of the competition, as has always been the case in the past, will be 2v2 Conquest: 15 minute rounds, 125 tickets per round, 2 rounds per map, and two maps per match. Total tickets at the end of both maps determine if a team wins or loses.

WHEN

The season will begin on February 14, 2022 and end on March 6, 2022. Match days will be on weekend afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 12:00 PM EST (GMT -5). The Mini League season is not yet live and is currently in the team registration phase, which will be active until Sunday, February 13, 2022 or until the sufficient number of registered teams (4) is reached.

WHERE

All Mini League Winter Season 2022 live league matches will be played in the Mini League | War Server, hosted in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Server details can be found below:

When the competition goes live, the server will be passworded and the server password will be communicated to league contestants privately. To join the server, you must download the Infantry Ladder maps and have the correct version of PunkBuster Client, v2.110 (links for these will be provided below).

WHO

Three teams of players located in North America and a maximum of one team of players located in Europe may join the competition. To register, you must have Discord and join the Mini League Discord (link below). Please be advised that if you are a team from Europe, you must accept to play in high ping conditions as Mini League does not currently have a server location on that continent. No registrations will be handled on the SiMPLE forums, either on this topic or via PM.

HOW

Registration is easy: you either join the competition by making a team, and recruiting a minimum of three players (2 main players + 2 backups), or you join a team as an individual player. It is easier to join the competition by joining the Mini League Discord directly. As soon as you are in the Discord, you are automatically registered as a league contestant. To register in a competition, you must be a team leader. The team leader must fill in the following form and send the answers to one of the Mini League Administrators on Discord (not here), or to me directly via DM on Discord. This is what the form looks like:

a) Your team's tag
b) Your team's name
c) The nicknames of all the members of the team with an indication of who the team leader is
d) The availabilities of each team member on the weekend
e) Whether all the team members have read the Mini League rules and agree to them
f) Whether all the team members installed PunkBuster client on their computer and are able to connect to the Mini League server

Please note that if you choose to be a team leader, you can only create a maximum of one team.
