Qasem Soleimani

BAGHDAD: Iranian Major-General Qassem Soleimani, head of the elite Quds Force, and Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were killed early on Friday in an air strike on their convoy at Baghdad airport, an Iraqi militia spokesman told Reuters.
"The American and Israeli enemy is responsible for killing the mujahideen Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Qassem Soleimani," said Ahmed al-Assadi, a spokesman for Iraq's Popular Mobilisation Forces umbrella grouping of Iran-backed militias.Strikes had been carried out against two targets linked to Iran in Baghdad on Thursday, U.S. officials told Reuters. The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, declined to give any further details.
Iraqi paramilitary groups said on Friday that three rockets hit Baghdad International Airport, killing five members of Iraqi paramilitary groups and two "guests."The rockets landed near the air cargo terminal, burning two vehicles, killing and injuring several people.
Soleimani, who has led the foreign arm of the Revolutionary Guards and has had a key role in fighting in Syria and Iraq, acquired celebrity status at home and abroad.

Kin, yes american leaders always play with middle east countries since decades..may be for oils' sake with the mask of global peace..
anyhow US will fight untill they win..they r evilly superior.If war pops Iran may cant defend for long time aganist US. Im just stating a fact and im not on US  side or Iran side either..I hope everything calms down and none lose thier precious lives in the play of sadistic politics..Take care IRAN

yes. the war mongering is obvious. also remember the oil tankers not long ago. this is just like nazi germany but in slow motion. after the "axis of evil", who is next? venezuela has one of the biggest oil reserves in the world. and in norway the public is changing about oil. 10% less support in one year. if norway stop extracting oil i fear usa wil come and "liberate" uss.

US scum wants to destroy one of last bastions of civilization and freedom, such as Iran.
They want decadent life style, full of luxury, but the fact is that they used all of their natural resources, on the other hand they have exponential growth in population, so their life standard is going down by each passing day.. not to mention greed.
So what happens next is that they become more and more aggressive in obtaining resources without having to pay for them.. everyone with at least little brain can see it.
Some countrys they occupy publicly, some silently.. for instance they organize ''revolution'', installing US oriented government in return for natural resources of that country.
In every country opposition exists, some of opposition makes deal with the devil to get in power.
Recent example of that is Bolivia, which is country that has biggest resources of lithium and look.. miracle happens, pro-US government has taken over!

Well, world bank declared that Norway is richest country in the world, so .... wherever there is money, these greedy scum appears.
But problem is that it is well organized EUropean country, so it's not easy to invade it or to organize opposition to take over since not many will follow opposition when ppl are having high life standard.
So what will happen is that these greedy bastards will try with propaganda, through TV, internet etc.. to try and influence general opinion of population... and after 10, or 20 years they will make their move.

We all want peace. There is less of a person who wants war unless it benefits. But the US government is seeking a world dominated by force, sanctions and more. The US was talking about freedom, but it did not consider a country that was not under its control free. Terrorist groups are often formed by the United States to put free nations in civil war.

It is exactly what is needed now. Few weeks ago it was talks about impichment , probably it would not happen , but it would make his position a bit unstable. So this is good choise for future campaign ...

Arkos, u r underestimating Iran.
My uncle worked there for some time and he told me that things there are not as most media's show it.
For example Iphone is very popular phone there.. also plastic surgery's are widely used, mostly by girls, nose correction.. etc
It's not closed country with tech from mid 70's...
They managed to hold on to their culture and heritage and to successfully combine old with modern way of life.
Also their military is much stronger then most ppl think.. don't doubt that they would not end up as Iraq by now if their enemy's could have done it.. and they do have so many enemies.. in Islam world and in Catholic.

Most of Iran's military commanders were executed during the revolution in Iran. Iraq invaded Iran with the help of half of the world's countries, including the United States.
But the Iraqis didn't get anything. Now we have a better army than then. Iran is a great country and it's not easy to defeat it.
