Ist that taxiing?

Hi guys,

I have rule question:

I am driving a flakpanzer and I am using it, shooting enemies and so on smile

I am driving north. South of me a goblin is spawning. I see that, turn the tank from north to south, driving it nearer to the goblin and than I leave the tank to enter the goblin.

Is that really taxiing? For me its a vehicle-change. But maybe I am wrong?

For me taxxing is, when I enter one vehicle for the only reason to get faster to another one.

If it was taxxing what was the alternative to get the goblin? Leave the flakpanzer immediately and walk to the goblin all the way?

Alex

This map is anyway a bit special and from my sight it's not taxiing.

Hi Alex,
In this case that was taxying, in my opinion.
Because you used flakpanzer, shooting from it near flag. Then you drive to another flag.At half way goblin spawns, you change your direction to opposite and drive flakpanzer directly to goblin.Bail out and take the goblin. You used flakpanzer to get faster to another vehicle, to your advantage creating disadvantage to other players, who were going to goblin by walk, including me.This was taxying, as I explained to you in chat.
It wouldn't be taxying if there were no players around who would take that goblin.
You used your vehicle to get another vehicle faster than other players = taxying.
