Double start and .....

For a month now I have this problem, I always got to start my game twice to play only on BF42 and after my pc is slow like treacle in the month of January ??
I got to restart my pc to get it runing normal after each time ??

What PC/CPU you have?

In the moment when it's slow, start once

> Taskmanager > Processes > Sort by CPU and look if there is something using CPU Power.

i have had some problem more than month.

When i start bf first time, it doesnt start but it shows on Task Manager's processlist. There is also other new process, RUNDLL32.exe which is using most CPU power. When i quit the game, RUNDLL doesnt stop. PC is slow until i stop that process.

not solved. OS has re-installed half year ago, and up to date.

Is it normal that there are 2 process named bf1942.exe? And file size is 5,38mb

If you take a look on my desktop you see many bf icons but all for same, I did what you said and the processe was sky hight !!!
Made some clean up in it but was still the same problem.

Then I started my game whit other icon road to rom and shut it down look ok for now ??? or cc cleaner ??

Upgrade Windows 10 from 7 and 8.1 is for free. (Also 8).

Windows 7 must be up to date then start this Microsoft-Tool from within Windows. It will take 10 Minutes or so.

A fresh Installation is also possible with an existing Windows 7 key. It doesn't matter if it's OEM or Retail Windows 7.

I don't know if you can go back after 30 days too.

There are a few hackers in the game but hey that is par for the course I guess and they are easy to spot. The game itself is stunning and play it two or 3 times and then play 42 again and it really does look dated and you wont want to go back.
It does require a pretty powerful PC to get the best out of it though worth checking out some videos to see it for real.

Get the digital download or licence in a box it works out cheaper and you save nothing having a hard copy because most of the game is downloaded anyway

Now I got a new problem whit bf42, my pc run ok after using the game. My problem now is that when I join a server its take about 3 to 4 and more minutes to laod. Any Ideas ??

I have sometimes a crash just at the beginning and the loading time is longer.

It appeared when i updated to a never driver some time ago.

You can evade this by making a DirectConnectToServerLink.

I wonder if it can be a pathway problem, i usually install games in there own folder directly on a harddrive instead of in the predestinated "program files" folder, and i never have had issues like this.
