BF League ideas

I think it would be nice to expand the league into different mods, especially the official expansions and DC. That would expand the clan base and diversify the competition. There are a few DC clans left and they are open to the idea of competing in the league, and those clans can even come to vanilla BF to compete with the clans that are already there.

It has always surprised me how the league has always had a blind eye for the expansions while promoting the memo maps, many of which are unbalanced, unprofessional and simply not well made. I'm not talking about the ladder maps which are excellent, but really the custom maps themselves. Many SW and RTR maps are excellent and offer great matches in 8v8. For example, Eagle's Nest is a great tank map while Essen is like the Berlin of SW. Cassino as well is great for tanks and infantry actions. Telemark is a great all around map.

The interest to play SW and RTR competitively is there too. Avernes for example is a small clan that plays expansion maps and ATF also plays them. If a few clans start scrimming then more will join the competition. And having organized competition is essential, which is why we need the league for those clans.

The RTR expansion pack is basically the same size as all the memo custom maps which can be downloaded on the BF League site. SW is roughly the same size. It can't hurt to set up something for those clans on league site.

Ideally yes that would be great. Let's wait and see what fear has to say about this. But how about having those maps in the regular season too? They are official maps and have the same quality as vanilla stock maps.

Would we get invictus to play XPack maps? I think a few more clans would be interested, SoH definetly.
