The panalty was a joke, but yellow for Neymar and the foul on the keeper was ok. It was in the 5-meter-box.

I know, but he didn't hit him. He just hold his arm in a sneaky way in order that the croatian player ran into his forearm. Red card would be too harsh for this. Many player use their elbow in a header duel and it is never a red card. Mandzukic is a good example for checking opponents with his elbow in a header duel. One reason why i am not a fan of him. And what about the other Brasilian guy? He should have get a red card too then.

What was with Modric? His role was very defensive, i think he should play more offensive. Didn't see him much, but maybe because of his short hair. Olic was the best player. Real fighter.

Brasil did play better, but i don't think that croatia deserved to get that score in the end...

Even with ref aids, even if the centre-backs get back to their true level, this team has too many weakness. I bet the pot that Brazil won't win the WC.

With a normal goalkeeper, Croatia would have beat them without putting forth too much of an effort.

I agree. 80 % of the keeper in the Bundesliga would save that shot from Neymar.

@G... Brazil wasn't better, they were the same level for me. And it is true with democratic countries... but still, i would rather prefere to live in such "democratic" countries than in Iran or whatever.

And it could have been more than 5-1. Spain was blasted away because of the speed Netherlands plays. Netherlands plays completely different with Van Gaal, far much better football than what they did in 2012 and 2010.
About Brazil - Croatia game, Pletikosa should not play, Brazil's 1st goal any good keeper tips it away and 3rd goal about the same. They should pick the other goalkeeper that plays in Monaco. Yes, the japanese referee was a joke, penalty was an offer and they had another free kick present with a dive by Neymar.
