It would be my suggestion to at least , consider this a 'download' day and meet and greet those who are just installing the game. There are post on Moongamers and Schindlers advertising date / time.
If you stick with Wednesday or stay on same day where there are no other major events..
Just saying.. It be nice to get on the server just with a 'few' people and catch some 'video' to promote the event even better next week

I think put it to 20:00, so i hope i can be back from work, but the event is not based on my presence.

I cannot connect but I am able to start a Pirates games locally.
I downloaded BF1942 with Origin, I also downloaded Pirates final version from

Should I be using a different version of the mod? *If* I need to reinstall to a different version is it simply a process of deleting the mod files and installing the new ones? or must I make other configuration changes?
It's been many years since I played this. Would like to make today's event! Any advice on how I can get this to work?

Hi Zinger,
Download Battlefield 1942 v1.61 Origin patched. You need to have version 1.61 to join BoRs server. Millerke should use an all clients BF1942 server. But first, backup your BF1942.exe before you copy modified file, if you want to revert back. Run new BF1942.exe with administrator rights and in Windows NT4 SP5 compatibility mode to avoid game crashes in Windows Vista.

I will say, thx for coming and sorry for the late, i had to work so i could join only at 21:00 to the server.
This was not the best event, i know.

There should be some sign-ups to have an estimate of how many will be present.
Sadly i think it doesn't matter, but we can give a try for the next event of some other mod.

I created my own Battlefield Pirates server:
There are some ppl in there, mostly on weekends at around 7-9 PM ( PST - Pacific Time, or GMT -7:00 )
