Those are custom maps made for BF1942. You don't need to install any mod (Forgotten Hope, Desert Combat, Battlegroup42, Eve of Destruction, etc.) to play them.
To answer your question, you can convert them to Forgotten Hope.

Is it possible to get admin rights for the new maps server?
I´d like to play on the server but with only a few players is sometimes boring on a large map.
so if i had admin rights i can skip the maps.

New installer SiMPLE-BF1942-New-Maps-2013-04-20.exe with all maps to play in SiMPLE | New Maps [FRA] server. Download it from Dev-Host, from Google Drive or from Game Front. It's a simple installer, 143 MB download size, which will work for both disc-based BF1942 and BF1942 Origin download.

Final release of installer SiMPLE-BF1942-New-Maps-2013-04-23.exe with 27 custom maps to play in SiMPLE | New Maps [FRA] server. Those custom maps have been carefully picked and are probably one of the best custom maps made. Download it from Dev-Host, from Google Drive or directly from http://team-simple.org/download/SiMPLE- … -04-23.exe. It's a 487 MB download size, which is impressive for having 27 maps totalling almost 1 GB. The installer will work for both disc-based BF1942 and BF1942 Origin download.

If you guys are looking for more players on the new maps server; maybe try making the server available to origin players and play normal 1942 maps and slowly integrate the custom maps as you tell the players to download them. Just a thought
