Marocco is strong, they only allowed one goal and that was vs. Canada. Don't think France is much better than Spain or Portugal, but we'll see. Hope an African team wins for the first time.

The final is an open game of both teams (they have nothing to lose + these teams like to play offensively)
3:2 for France.

Battle for 3rd place 1-1. Croatia will win in extra-time, although Morocco will fight until the end.

The next world cup is in North America but not just in 1 country. It'll be in the US, Canada, & Mexico. Is that common? Do world cups in Europe do multiple countries? I guess one of the places will be in Florida (Miami). Soccer isn't a popular sport here, but more popular than other places due to the demographics.

It does not happen a lot, but in 2002 Japan and South Korea hosted the world cup together. And you are right, Miami is one of the 16 places!

That was a masterpiece of a football match and probably the best I’ve ever seen. France came back from being dominated for the first 80 minutes and Mbappe again showed his class by carrying the French team.

I wished Deschamps chose the penalty takers for France more carefully but is is what is it.

Well played Argentina, superb effort, this is one for the history books.
