Thx for the advice guys... i had gamebooster on, so all not useless background programs should be closed.

I remember that i had back then a Radeon 9500pro and i didn't have much problems. And this card had 64mb and that on in the laptop has 512mb. The one who gave me that laptop played WOW without any problems.

Tuia, of course i mean FPS laggs and not internet laggs...
I played on 1024x748 and all graphic settings on low.

I hope i can fix it... i would install XP, but there are no driver for XP for the hardware. And the RAM is limited on XP on 3gb or 3,5gb right? I have Win7 64 home edition...

He plays everything on high and doesn't have any laggs. OK the GPU is better and the CPU is from Intel... maybe Intel works better with the GPU then AMD CPU, right?

On this benchmark test 2006 (http://www.chip.de/downloads/3DMark06_12995482.html) my brother's asus has about 4600 point and my acer about 4000. I think its a problem with BF42... even with that GPU and CPU such an old game should run better... im going to install a newer game to test it.
