I don't think it's possible to mess around with animations in a map side mod.

It is possible to manipulate the AnimationStateMachine per map basis with the "Set" command, i have used the "no parachute delay" and "swim faster" code in some maps as a serverside mod. The arm and leg movements still look the same for the clients for the swim mod, but for the chute mod it just release you from the shute harness faster.

AnimationStateMachine.SetActiveState Lb_ParachuteHitGround
AnimationStateMachine.setSpeed 7 0 0

AnimationStateMachine.SetActiveState Ub_ParachuteHitGround
AnimationStateMachine.setSpeed 7 0 0

AnimationStateMachine.setActiveState Lb_SwimForward
AnimationStateMachine.setSpeed 20 0.5 1

AnimationStateMachine.setActiveState Lb_SwimBackward
AnimationStateMachine.setSpeed 20 0.5 1

Im thinking serverside mod, i guess i try the server files in your post and see what happens smile

Im tinkering a bit with "knifebots" but its a bit stupid because many of them lay down on the ground when they get close so, it might be easier to erase the "lay down" in the AI code if i can find it.

Im a bit curious to, if it is the animation states there is some things i know works serverside like faster/slower swimming or alter the firedelay when you land from parachute etc

It seems you are not alone then smile that blinking should be a fault message, see if you can find it in the manual

http://www.manualslib.com/manual/232584 … =77#manual

edit: if nothing else helps you can try "bake" method, back in 2008  nvidia changed to lead free soldering witch caused a lot of problem http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/new … -defective

there is some reading here about the issue http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/ … 43165.html

it seems the nvidia card is a plugin modul so i would try remove it and bake it if everything else fails

iwe done it with a geforce 8800 gt card once smile

I'm not sure if it's possible to add a fixed number of bots to maps. Bots will fill all players slots, meaning if it's a 48 players slot server, it will have 24 bots each side.

Its should be possible to limit them, both as fixed server value and/or map based

If you want bots in conquest mode it takes a lot more codefiddling within each map you want them in.

If its worth it i dont know, i have some bots flying around in my Coral server mostly as easy target practise. If i give them bomb planes they pick off snipers with great precision smile

i think maybe you are trying to join the wrong server? look for the RtR+SW or use ip/ports from the list below

188.165.220.115:14567 SiMPLE | BF1942 No key [FRA]

188.165.220.115:14569 SiMPLE | New Maps No key [FRA]

188.165.220.115:14568 SiMPLE | RtR+SW No key [FRA]

188.165.220.115:14571 SiMPLE | Tanks a lot!

download for the new maps server: http://team-simple.org/download/SiMPLE- … -07-08.exe

woops! im sorry if if i explain badly, i will try to clarify.

timmos didnt know about the sniper until he took a hit in the chest and got down to 35% (with a maphack he would have known the sniper was there waiting)

then you can hear the sniper firing another 4-5 shots, if you use headphones its fairly easy to hear witch direction the shots are coming from

so when timmos take of with the plane he propably had a good idea of the snipers position.

i see no evidence of cheating in the posted vids, quite the opposite as he fly by many easy targets.

If you mean the sniper at the runway, you can hear him shooting at timmos. sound carries longer than visual in bf42 so its not hard to pinpoint the approx location of that sniper.

atleast thats how it looks like to me from the vid. other then that ill say hes a decent plane noob, cant see anything that looks unnatural.

just sort files on date and you see directly if there is any of the standard maps that is newer than 2004.

I tried once to increase the size of the chat/game messages, it was doable but there was some problem with it, i think it couldn´t display the same amount of letters or it took to much place to be displayed correctly, cant remember exactly.

edit2: I tried your fonts s[sk], and it works fine for me, i have bad vision so i don´t mind if the console is bigger too. Thanks!

Try with linux first, make a test setup in virtuabox first if you are new to linux and need to learn how it works, testing different distros etc.

I ran origin on windows xp for a while and as far as i know there wasnt any disconnects like the ones you describe, if you think its the network card causing it i would go for a quality card like Intel. It doesnt have to be newest and fastest but just stable.

Seriously, what can I do to solve this problem?

The advice i got was to change ISP hmm

There is some small tricks i use sometimes, if you can take of with the AichiVal right side of carrier-tower without ending up in the water then it works ok. When the corsair starts to feel like a flying bathtube then its not ok (its the most connection-sensitive plane)

If you empty the mag in your gun and next second or so there is still bullets left, then its not ok.

I think maybe the priority for game packets is very low at the ISP´s side, or there will to fix crappy routers. Some years ago when i had the most problems i found out that VoIP was there highest priority, you can google around about it if you want to learn more.

example http://fiberforall.org/your-internet-sp … -be-lying/

The ISPs do not have the best interests of the consumers in mind. There is no transparency, and the vast majority of customers who are affected do not know that their data is being manipulated or re-prioritized.

There seem to be something weird with bf1942 and newer graphic cards, i can get the game to utilitize my card more than some few percent, often it clocks down to the lowest setting in midgame lol. Now it is enough to not lag but it still weird as i had more fps throughput with my old card.

works fine when i tried today, i might add that it was just a couple a short time this happened and some clicks on the update button fixed it. im not sure if it was origin or the cd version i used when it happened because i was fiddling with settings copying between the two versions and it took awhile and some restarts to get it right.

Windows xp works fine in kvm, if you go that way just be sure to use the virtua drivers when you install xp or you will get a performance loss on IO operations and network.
