Try to download the stuff from here http://team-simple.org/download/ it`s not complicated at any point.
ALSO during gampeplay at vanila maps the link above can be displayed = problem solved. If someone can`t download and install mentioned files, I`m just gonna call it laziness.
I'm saying SiMPLEs didn't make BF. I know how to get the downloads, I already have those custom maps and the HD patch. What I am saying is that not everyone knows how to install custom maps - the SiMPLE New Maps comes with an installer which is nice, but still, some people would not even know where the maps are supposed to be located in the first place. I also doubt that some people would want to play custom maps, simply because the old maps are more nostalgic.

RtR and maps like Remagen and Faid Pass should be added to regular team simple server - the maps are pretty much the same as vanila.
Now the RtR+SW server is empty 90% of the time or with frequency 10/64.
I disagree, both RtR and those maps need to be downloaded not everyone knows how to do that. Even when you try to explain how.

Whoopz, you forget the time. Some people go to sleep after midnight.
Yesterday we played after midnight and we were also 20+ Players. First we started with Bots, then i was asked to deactivate them, what i did and it was fun. Later we played again with bots.
It was fun without but also later with bots.

Bots are on during the morning and off in the afternoon and night. It is a test, let us see how players react to the change.
After midnight is still not the morning correct? I know the players I was playing with felt like leaving. People were asking for bots to be turned off as well.

Dunno why u were banned for that, it's not a glitch - maybe an unexpected spot - but it's clearly allowed. Some noob admin must've done it.

This is actually true. A couple years ago, right before gamespy took down the server list server, there was widespread cheating going on. Being who I am, a highly skilled, highly intelligent player with a smart mouth who has always been hated by every punk in the game, often I am deliberately targeted in an effort to "get IceBag$" so the punk can feel some sort of power over me. Back then, there were a few players who thought it would be cool to use hacks to target me. Eventually I got tired of it and decided to fight fire with fire ...and that's exactly what I did ...and I didn't hide it either.

I agree with tuia, the train is great and all, but I found myself not using it in the test war that we did, because either it went down too quickly or it was just faster to spawn in the main and take a tank.
I really like the AAs on the rooftops, I think the cathredral side needs some AA guns somewhere.
I didn't see if there was a Stuka on Axis, but it could be kind of fun, or no planes at all because they actually didn't seem to make that much sense when we played.
Feels like it could be fun in a larger (public) scale than 8v8 that we played.

Whoopz, OBS Studio is a great free program to stream or record your BF1942 gameplay. You should try get some answers to your mic problem in their forum: https://obsproject.com/forum/
You can still download the older OBS Classic for Windows.
Thanks for the tip, but I think I actually fixed it already. I was using the older version of OBS, OBS Classic before, and it caused my game to crash, I knew how to fix my audio there because I have used it in the past, but not on the new OBS Studio, somehow I got it solved now though (tbh. I think it was just my pc being weird)

A lot of maps from BF-League that haven't been added, there's at least 66 memomaps you could add, as well as IF Berlin/TL Aberdeen. There's also the vanilla versions of the RtR maps.

Been trying to stream with OBS as well, can only get it to work in window mode, game crashes with the game capture options. Been thinking about adding an overlay so you just cant see those parts of the window and it would still look full screen ;O
