Hi all,
iv a question. When I run the game from my 'Program Files (x86)' folder without admin mode I can still change my settings.
But they are stored somewhere else, not in the game folders. where should I look for them?

In the Logs the keyHASH is notated,
The server doenst know your key, only you keyhash.
You cant go back from keyhash to key

with 1 it wont work

I had contact with this guy, and he had no clue why he got banned.
So, I went to this section. (I never come here)

All other servers are at 20 Hz

Know this:
Server owners must sometimes make patches/fixes without giving info to the players.
Because there are always other servers unprotected.
And yes apparently this has a negative side effect wink

Tuia agreed to remove the patch.
I just realized that my regs are really bad sometimes on simple and sometimes very good.
That while in the same match. Just realized it was this reason probably wink

ah thanks for the info. If I understanding the server code I can confirm what you say.
The reason of this patch is to avoid players exploiting the weapon switch.
But in my opinion it is not a very bad/OP exploit.
And using a macro will only give you 1 button advantage, which every decent player is capable of pressing himself wink

Btw once they learn better they are not new players anymore wink
(though, I think we agree)

btw the tanks missing shots have nothing to do with this patch.
The patch simple uses is for infantry handweapons.
It sets these values to max after putting the weapon away:

Its not something Tuia made. its a patch by Russ.
Kinda clever patch, to disable a trick that negatively effects new players.
Its a choice of preference as admin
The current description is:
Reset firing deviation to max when disabling weapon.
Im not fond of this ether wink
il talk to tuia about it. Maybe half of max, or even less.

I dont know. I only have 1 mouse.
I dont think the virtual tool will make distinction between 2 mouses

I found the problem.
once the game was running the virtual stick wasn't updated anymore so that caused the problem.
Running the virtual stick as admin was the trick.

Btw, its really funny to use the mouse as stick. If you master it it is as good as keys or joystick.
INFO:
The problem with the mouse is that you have to keep moving it to change plane directions.
So basically; mouse is based on speed/movement and joystick is based on location.
Now my mouse is based on location.

My joystick shows in the configuration screen in windows.
If I press settings I can also see the joystick working.

But the joystick doesn't work in game.

I changed this to the air con file:
ControlMap.addAxisToAxisMapping c_PIPitch IDFGameController_0 IDAxis_1 0
ControlMap.addAxisToAxisMapping c_PIRoll IDFGameController_0 IDAxis_0 0
I can also see the changes in the menu/settings

But when I fly my joystick wont respond.

Maybe an important note:
I use a virtual joystick (mouse -> joystick)
with https://sourceforge.net/projects/vjoy-controller/

anyone an idea how to fix this?

What if we make a sever that sends updates regularly to the clients?
call the mod bf1942 2.0
It would add new weapons now and then. kinda like the changes Epic games makes to Fortnight
