If we admins allowed every chat spammer, every tker, every base raper, every troll who decides they like to break a rule every time they play in a server every day. If we don't set a standard of behavior of what we expect our valued players to adhere to while they are playing in our servers. What sort of chaos to you think our servers will fall into? How many decent players do you think would stick around to play with that crap? How many complaints do you think we would see in these forums about the admins not doing anything.

Everything in life has a basic set of rules that we must follow to allow our fellow humans to live a relatively peaceful and annoyance free life. Yes it is just  game but every game has rules. The game of life has rules. If you break these rules someone usually will let tell you if you continue that you will have to live with the consequences right

I personally do not understand why some people have such a hard time following some easy simple rules on any server

anyhoo .. coffee time smile

+5 for Piper today!

And to the topic starter MOSS, great heads-up!!! Thats what people need to do.. just report and let the gods sort em out (i know admins are not gods, calm down please).

Though i never seen these player names. And all the screenshots are from DC-FINAL... team-simple is not running this mod atm.

And im sure they will ban such things RIGHT AWAY no matter what people here say.

To my experience the BEST moderated server in BF1942 is either SIMPLE or TGE... next to AX where there are plenty of banned people.

I understand that you might be upset by someone... a player.. an admin. But remember the admins (here and elsewhere) are working for free... they work hard... they are human, they have feelings and they make mistakes. And the owner of this forum here is VERY patient to let people explain themselves and what-not. Dont be a winer... (comming from me that sounds strange, I KNOW hahaha)

Oh man the pedesta scandal...

And those spirit cooking things.. cant believe people are into that kind of thing.

With the Clinton.. the day it came out bill doing that thing with his cigar to the intern... i knew these people were NOT my cup of tea and i expected them to disappear soon.

I expected too much from the Americans i guess... non of the Clinton and their children and blood and gore loving were cast out. None of them in jail.. hell MEGA PLENTY ALOT of people voted for Hillary.

Either the gross of the Americans just too busy to pay attention OR they dont care and are most likely the same "cup of tea".

WAIT A MINUTE.... this is not an AMERICAN thing actually... you see these things in the higher "rings" a lot. Not long ago i visited a client (multimillionaire)  a month ago at his mansion. I was glad i did that.. because i found out he and his several wife's and "children" (adopted) were into some crazy sex sh1t... i wont describe what they were doing there in that mansion but i tell you... there are a lot of dirty and dangerous people in this world. They seem so nice, so neat, so decent, so posh... but pffff..... insane.. dirty....

Its real... be careful... keep away from drugs, violence and crazy sexual practices because they come hand in hand and its DEADLY.

Oh and what happend? I walked out... the girls were running around me begging me to stay (join)... then the client came. Huge guy... begging me to stay... i looked him in the eye and told him "you are lucky i just walk away, dont you EVER step into my direction ever again and make SURE you not make me witness of your crimes anymore GOODBYE". I saw him thinking if violence or blackmail would work on me.. he made a good choice to just let me go.

Point is... new intel chips will hit the market soon which are safe from these attacks... then the old CPU's will become super cheap! In a year or so it be good for buy old intel cpu bases systems (new in the box).

I worked with a few NUC's and i love them... they do get hot also... and true the graphics are not that good but you can play BF easy on them! I'd say better just buy a second hand.. not that old... make sure it runs smooth and its a prebuild like DELL or ASUS or MSI or HP....

Im so glad to see you back up and running Sunshine. Your system will be fine. Maybe someday you need to put a fresh windows install on it or a new hard drive. But that machine is great for so many things.. no matter its old.

The temps for ur HD are NOT ideal but its common... dont worry too much about it. I keep an eye on all these stats with apps like GLANCES and PSENSOR:

1.png

screenshot-wide.png

And i have scripts to send me email if any temp rises above set limits.

Im at work, quick reply:

Nice graphics card!!!!!! Zalman is one of the best commercial cooling solutions out there! It will do fine for quite some extra years dont worry!

Yes, make sure the air can freely flow by the metal (alu) fins. The temp of the GFX card should not go over 90 degree... not that it will brake just life spawn will shorten.

The disk going 62 is hot but acceptable... make sure the disk has metal on both side... so that it can transfer the heat via the case. I mean make sure all 4 screws are tight (not tooo tight).

Airflow can cool your system (and hd) but direct contact to other metal works much better...

So ur cpu has no fan.... thats nice (quiet)  and the exhaust fan by the input/output is running right behind that. Also i guess your power supply has a fan in it running... i think this is more than enough.

I see your stats in Piriform Speccy... it all looks ok... check this again after u been gaming for an hour or longer. Chips like cpu or gpu shouldnt go much higher than 90 degree... nominal is 60...

Hard drives (mechanical) can run hot to like 60 degree.. it is acceptable... but hot... i think you will see after a boot the temp will sink down again.

bud wrote:

I dont think your hd should be that hot even without a fan

Try another program like crystaldiskinfo just to doublecheck the values

http://bfo.pm/pic/1_temp.jpg

Indeed CRYSTAL DISK INFO is a great tool, true... its hot... i prefer speedfan or other because it can graph the temp over time (along with usage).

The fan fell apart... oh well.... hahaha.. get a new one. Just like BUD said.. 60 is HOT... its acceptable for a peek moment.

I really gotto go back to work...

Take care all (BUD, Arkos, Sunshine, Dink)

Actually... I think it could possibly be an overheating problem :-/

My front fans light up but they don't spin sad The cables are all plugged in and everything. I doubt all 3 broke at the same time. I dont even know how long it's been like that sad

Sometimes fans get stuck... u can "help" by spin them with ur hand a bit to see if they turn on.

In your BIOS u have settings and fan sensors possibly. Else see the mainboard software in windows for fan speed settings.

Fans light up you say? U have those fans with leds in them? If they light up it doesnt mean they should be turning. Usually fans spin up when the software or bios tells them to spin up. I (we) have absolutely NO idea what system you have so its a bit "dangerous" to just follow our advise.

Still i say a few things here:

1 if u have loads of fans in your system with leds... dont bother too much... the fan in your POWER SUPPLY and on your GRAPHICS CARD and on your CPU have to turn on.. else you have a problem to fix... the other "show fans" are not that important.. u can quite safe ignore them.

2 your initial problem is fixed... cleaning fans is fine... backup data is ALWAYS good plan...

3 if your system is not "home made" refer to the manual about the fan issue.. some systems have POTS to regulate the fan speed by hand

4 photos or system specs are really helpful in case you need help online... but i would be very careful to post too much info about your system on here. Its too late to make a shadow account... lol better PM bud or Dink or whomever you know and trust... better yet get a handy guy or girl who lives close by who knows computers to help

5 PLEASE REMEMBER... DONT FIX IT IF IT AINT BROKEN!!!!

U can use a tool like SPEEDFAN or MSI AFTERBURNER or ready made installed tools to monitor temps in your system... post here (or elsewhere) with temp results and people can tell you if your system runs abnormally/dangerously too hot or not.

http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner

P.s. do NOT try to overclock or anything like that at this point... i really dont like the idea that you dig into your system too much. When a computer is dusty inside and you start to unplug things and plug the thing back in the chance u get dust in places where you dont want it to be is HUGE. Please... dont dig too much if you dont have to. Dont go play too much with connectors... they do brake.. and u can quickly end up with a broken system.

True. Its always a good idea to dust out your fans and heatsinks in your computer especially with laptops.

Hard disks, mechanical ones, do run hot... nothing much to worry about.

Email programs should indeed not cause any problems with uninstalling but it looks like it did anyway.

Often the problem you have occurs when you turn off or reset your pc while it is still starting up or shutting down. Try not to do this with windows.

Since you backup your important files and maybe do a check-disk i think you be fine. Make sure u have same version windows 7 installation CD at hand for when the system stop respond at all.

Good luck!

The second person asking for help over at aX server? Oh god nooo....

Anyways usually people get a ban for misbehaving on their server (duh)... it probably is just a few days (3 or 7) ban. So be patient. If you seriously messed up u might have a perm ban. Not much you can do about it....

And especially here... there are no aX admins here that can help you except for ban you again if you not wise up and say sorry for what u did.

SOMETIMES (rarely) people get banned there for the wrong reason or by mistake. U could also be using a CD key that a troll/cheater uses. Then you werent banned... just using a CD key that others also use.

Good luck OVER-THERE http://forum.bf1942.sk/

Start-up repair can take a long time indeed... ok you back into your system? You might want to backup important files!

What did you try to uninstall that might have caused this? Its not normal obviously... you might not be "home-free" yet!

My advise is to do a check-disk... depending on the software you tried to uninstall maybe also a decent anti-virus/trojan/rootkit/malware scan.

Check-disk you do by going to command prompt (START-RUN > cmd) then

chkdsk c: /F /X

You will have to reboot for the check to run (takes a while yes).

But if you in the system now... first thing to do is backup important files (SERIOUSLY).

#1312 Re: Technical Help » PC wont boot :( » 2018-04-15 00:46:09

iCQ

Wow shit... uuh... first thing to do is what DinkW said... try boot into safe mode.

Well actually first thing you have to do is GET EMPTY USB STICK (or memory card) and copy all files from that drive that you still really need.

If you cannot get into safe mode make a LIVE BOOT CD... any OS that allows you to (www.ubuntu.com download iso and burn on CD or USB stick) so you can grab your important files from your desktop and documents folders (and such).

Then ONLY THEN start to try to repair... 50/50 if you can repair at all. Restore is only available on SOME systems. What is the brand/type of system you use Sunshine? What is the current status? Anyone here on the forums who you can teamspeak/call with who knows how to help?

Questions:
1 do you know or have a feeling WHY this happend? What did you do in the windows session before this? Updates? Driver installs? Anything you did out of the normal? Which program did you uninstall??????? Did you google that issue?

2 do you have important files on that windows partition?

3 what brand/model/type is your system... we can find out if it suppose to have a RESTORE partition.. dont forget.. when you restore you will probably loose all data also (welcome to the world of windows).

----------------------
To make USB stick or memory card bootable from windows use RUFUS tool:
https://rufus.akeo.ie

Download a live CD here: https://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop … ture=amd64

Make sure you select the USB disk and not your main hard drive when you burn the iso to your memory stick/card.

Boot from the CD by the TRY UBUNTU option, this will not change your drives in any way so all your data is safe.
----------------------

God damnit i think we are too late to help her DinkW..... hope she be ok.
