As a traditions keeper i urge you follow the common way of bf42 duel requesting, for make a legit dare you have to mention your opponent's relatives or at least you must put here a statment regarding his appearence's attractivness, in other way that will be a friendly match of noobs. We are waiting.
I have insulted this person on more than numerous occasions and excercised to the fullest my contempt for them. Let the duel do the talking from now. Years of acrimony will be boiled down to and settled in 20 minutes.
I am happy to wait a little if this new software is reliable enough to make a difference to what has become a big problem across all servers.
Thanks for the interest in this proposed contest. I would like 2 independent observers to video and record the 1vs1 from both players perspectives so that people can make their own conclusions from the evidence. Looking forward to hearing from a couple of volunteers. Over to you.
I'm tired of the jerk.
1vs1 rules. 2 independent Admins to video it. The stakes are I lose, I take a year ban. He loses, he takes a year ban. Who wants to see it?
A guy at my school was 6 feet 7 inches when he was 15 years old. His dad worked somewhere the government agriculture experiments were carried out. He used to bring the produce home and I'm sure that's why his son was a freak 'cause his dad was about 5 feet 7.
I am 6 feet 2 inches tall and I used to get told I was tall. Thesedays I see plenty of young men taller than me but the big shock is a woman the same height as me which I never used to see except on TV playing a sport where height helps. I think people have got bigger in general and it may be the Western diet of processed food that's produced this effect.
In my view Waffen SS division tags should not cause a problem as much as other SS divisions because if anyone knows their history (and this is a historically based game), the Waffen SS was a special forces frontline fighting division not one that guarded and ran concentration camps. And before war crimes are mentioned as a barrier to Waffen SS tags it should be also be known by historic record that atrocities occoured on all sides and were not soley the responsibility of German military.
I can't record I was wondering if there was a technical reason behind what's become more and more of an annoyance. Frank (Ger) sort of answered but not in a way that explains the sequence of events unfolding. It may be that long range the shot has been airborne for long enough to be fixed in calculation and not disappear. At the close ranges where I don't seem to get rub of luck, the final shot disappears when everything about the situation from the number of hits already made to the smoke signals and the shot reload time has me convinced my final shot will result in a kill. I get to hear my cannons fire report. I get to see the grey blur of the shot leave my cannon. I die, my target survives.
What happens half the time is my enemy is near critical condition at close range where a miss is not part of the equation because I am visually on target, I am near critical myself, their final shot puts me critical enough time to let off my final shot but I die and they don't even though I both hear and see my shot leave my cannon meaning my shots disappear at short range yet in a long range duel I can end up dead 3 or 4 seconds after an enemy has died from their final shot.
I have just been killed in a Wespe duel with a captured Tiger at long range. I killed the Tiger, and about 3 seconds later, the Tiger's last shot hit me and killed me. My experience commonly is that at closer ranges when I fire a last shot with my tank, the cannon report goes off, I see the shot leave my cannon as a grey blur, and I am on target visually before I die, but my mortally wounded enemy who's tank is smoking and has already taken multiple hits does not die. So in summary, half of my final shots even at close range seem to disappear, but my opponents final shot usually hits me.
3 points for taking an undefended flag as opposed to 1 point for making a kill. Can this arrangement be altered so it's less of a racing game.
I was beaten 1vs1 today by Fennek on Aberdeen, one kill to zero. M10 vs Tiger.
That's you and your brother in game footage without hacks
Thank you Tuia, I know nameless as an Admin even though he plays on different servers most of the time to me and I did not believe this "BFSoldier" had any leverage over him. BFSoldiers with lousy scores are genuine new players. I trust no player with a BFSoldier name that is any kind of competent player. You have to be really dumb to put any time into this game and not come up with a name other than BFSoldier.
Banned today. Joined Simple Tanks and there was a "BFSoldier" playing against 1 other player. As soon as I joined he began beefing at me in various ways. Then, when another player joined so it could be 2vs2, I ask if he would stop doing it and he said he didn't want me playing or need me playing so I did nothing. This did not stop his beefing. He said he was going to get me banned because he knew a player called "nameless" like he could extract a favour out of him. I know nameless is an Admin, I can't believe this "BFSoldier"has any leverage over him.
You need to see a Doctor, fast. Ask him for some antipsychotics.
You should be sorry for getting so involved that you need to make 3 separate posts in a row. Not about something that hasn't happened, Dr.
It's hard to be humble when you're as great as I am.

Cheating piece of shit deeko. Always were and always will be. Because without your hacks you can't play.
The only thing you might lack a bit on those TL_maps is those super long range fights you had on Arcor Arena against jna, MacDaddy and others.
I remember them well. jna parking his M10/Tiger on the furthest hill at the back away from the action behind a screen of team mates in Shermans/Panzers and use it like a piece of artillery. Good tactic to avoid getting killed, waste of a heavy. He could have poured a concrete gun emplacement instead of hogging the heavies.
Not many 1vs1 end up being a hide and seek. I can see why hide and seek isn't as easy on Tank Arena, but then you know exactly where the enemy will be on Tank Arena - dug into the buildings at middle. At least Aberdeen has open ground and more terrain variation. And Aberdeen is not that big of a map, you can traverse it and patrol looking for an enemy in a couple of minutes. I can say this though, if during a 1vs1 I was 1 - 2, and my opponent decided to play hide and seek for more than a few minutes, I would just declare them the winner and leave.
I have found 20 minutes is usually enough to decide a no flag 1vs1 Aberdeen with a 1st to 10 kills win factor. Sometimes it's 9 kills or 8, hardly ever reach the end of round with say, 4-5 being the winning score. Best of 3 rounds doesn't mean 3 rounds in a row, it means a maximum of 3 rounds assuming the scores are 1 - 1 after 2 rounds. Obviously 2 - 0 means the match is decided. I am glad you agree on some of my rules, especially the no weapons only repair wrench as this prevents a bail and mine from an opponent who's tank is critically damaged, and similar unsporting tactics which are annoying in multiplayer games but become very annoying 1vs1. If you have to die with your tank it makes the match about tanks, not the box of tricks in your pocket. The reason I prefer no flags, on Aberdeen, is that with the right circumstance, it's possible to kettle your opponent in his base, if you are prepared to stand your ground outside it and take them on. This can shorten the 1vs1 round to as little as 10 minutes.
In a 1vs1 I think any kind of flag focus is an uneccessary distraction. Tank Arena is a bit of a joke as a map. Aberdeen will always be king. These would be my rules for for the fairest possible tank 1vs1.
No flags.
No mines, ex-packs, small arms or bazookas.
No pad sitting after tank is repaired.
You have only your repair wrench and you must die with your tank.
20 minute rounds on Aberdeen
1st to 10 kills wins round.
Best of 3 rounds to decide the winner.
I am interested to know among tank oriented players (not infantry or air players) whether or not they think there should be any kind of gentlemans rules. For example, on the best tank map Aberdeen, I find that when the opponent agrees that there will be no flag taking, the match gets quickly decided on kill points.
It's actually a big thing when Sepp gets beat 1vs1 because it hardly ever happens as no one accepts the challenge. But when it does, I make sure to be honest.
Off Topic is the thread of my post. That's the first 1vs1 I've had in months of challenging all and any. Worth the wait. I wish I could find such worthy and honourable opponents once a week would be nice. I'm so traumatized by the experience I wont be challenging Tuga for a long time.
I was beaten 1vs1 Simple Aberdeen by Tuga today. I was in a Tiger he was in an M10 sitting on the pad at West. I made a pass and headed South to tempt him off the pad, which worked, until I wheeled my Tiger around, then, he started reversing back onto the pad so I moved in and got up close. Point blank. Before his M10 was even smoking he bailed and mined me from the pad.
Tuga 1. Sepp 0
I thought I better report my loss as according to Tuga after he killed me under these circumstances, he called me a loser. There ended the game. Judgement passed by the winner.
Thank you for the 1vs1 Tuga, it was a tough battle and I was clearly outmatched. Well done.
Some time ago, not that long, a certain Admin who I could easily name but choose not to, cloaked his name and brought with him to the server two of the most professional hackers/cheats known to BF1942 (simon and his brother deeko) with the purpose of goading me into a ban. It didn't work because I realised what the intention was and who it was, so I quit to prevent it. There is an old saying that if you lay down with dogs you will catch fleas. Sorry to question the integrity of a minority of Admins, but collaborating with well known and proven cheaters in such an underhand way is at very least circumstantially suspicious and proof enough that where there is smoke there is fire.
Based on the situation and corroborating circumstances, the language seems quite appropriate. At least we know who the Admin was now Abbas has uncloaked him.
"If you think someone is cheating don't even bother asking an admin ingame, it doesn't work that way if you haven't discovered that by now."
What about the fact that the player "lesden" who was suspected of cheating by more than one player, was the one who banned him. "lesden" could only do this if he was an Admin. In which case, where is "lesden" to justify the ban? He's not here answering. I have never heard of an Admin "lesden". Clearly this Admin is cloaked, for whatever reason. And I think we can summise what that reason might be. I've already suggested a forum wide vote on Admins having to use the name in game their Admin rights were issued under in a recent forum thread. But, the idea got poo-pooed. Oh well. This is what it has come to - honest players banned for calling out cheats while the cheats circumvent any ban. What a wonderful situation.
Cheats can be stopped but not made to disappear. The "good" cheats are able to evade any kind of ban. As much as there are complaints about cheating, there are equally complaints of Admin abuse. As a matter of reducing this alleged Admin abuse, the policeman should wear his badge? There is crime reaction and crime prevention. It's well known that policemen with a visible presence reduce crime rates. I know you'll say "But what about undercover detectives?". Well, it still would not stop the professional cheats. Perhaps the badge on show may deter not the cheats, but they'll know to fear Admins if they are around and obvious. I do not think that asking every Admin for an honest show of hands would produce an honest answer as regards which of them play under Admin name and which of cloak under aliases. This is why a I am suggesting a forum wide vote on the issue, in which of course every Admin will get to vote and remain anonymous.
