- Was because you wanted to create a secure server with superb management, and not just a (meaningless) vote. I guess I missunderstood something, and now I see that it was a vote about who would contribute to such server - but then I don't understand why you mate it anonymous. Anyway, GL with whatever will happen

Of course you won't get banned for trying to raise BF42 to hopefully better and new heights.

But stop counting votes. Just start working. We only have 80 BF42 related servers running right now - bring your idea to life!

Rinjo, this topic is not about a "representative sample" for the most popular and played maps, but simply just a player (Denny) asking what your favorite map is as a (single) player. So if it's only pilot and plane lovers who enter this topic, it will most likely be plane maps with the most votes. That's what I tried to tell with my previous post...

Serebro: Around 1.50 it's very clear from Simons front-/fly by camera that Tuga is spawning/jumping at the north west sandbags. Simon is (dare I say it) smart and bait him with a random shot, making Tuga believe he is  preoccupied with something else and therefor kindda forces Tugas "mine attack and move".

Il allow myself to go break thevideo into details for X-Tugas sake or anyone else:
1. Liberation of caen got some high buildings  with ladders in the city. From there you can walk or jump from different rooftops - they are high enough so you can jump down and still manage to activate your parachute. Like Spiderman.
2. A Panzer IV tank shoot in a very straight line. Therefor it's unwise to take close fights vs a tank or inf below you / take close fights in a curved or hilly terrain.
3. All tanks have different weakspots - also called "bugshot" places. By hitting those spots you can take a very high percentage of the enemy tanks health. Heavy tanks are especially known for these weakspots.
4. When you are using a vehicle in BF1942, you also have the opportunity to make use of different camera angles; front, rear and fly by. This is and can be VERY usefull - and using this well is often where you separate a decent tanker from a great tanker - (as well as the ability to  use the mg as anti-air well vs planes).
5. When you are in a heavy tank, especially an m10, it is for the most part unwise to drive towards the attacking light tank; the enemy gets the opportunity to mine you, your weak spots gets closer and therefor easier to hit and driving also weakens your aim.

Damn you are such a crybaby, holy moly. You got taken away 24 hours from your favorite server and was told to stop insulting people ingame. I can tell you that any player in any modern game with a public ingame chat would be reported and eventually banned when repeatedly insulting other players - a lot of games don't even have public chat but solely teamchat - and those modern games thrive just fine. I have said it already, if other admins don't like my actions they are free to take my rights, as well as you are free to join other BF42 servers and continue your lovely chat-raid in there. I'm done responding to you and this thread, I hope you understand why - gl to you.

Simon, you can't compare the older days of this game to now and especially not the type of players. Now is  more like afk-proning as sniper, pressing E + W without thought and zook cams :-).

In this particular round on Stalingrad I actually wanted to give Lati a 1 day ban as well, but he became very quiet after Mediocre "left". I'm not defending anyone here, but I feel like whatever test01 was writing, it came as a reaction towards you and Latis provocations.

Alvarez-Latino is also a good example of this. His daily play routine always consist of asking and poking people; he can ask Kin about his next clan, insinuating he is a clanjumper or ask Cranberrie about his cheating history, etc. etc, - and he doesn't do this because of geniune interest, but solely to create a provocation that hopefully (in his case) cause a reaction from his targeted victim, because no one around him taught him how to behave behind his keybaord (or irl). I think the only contribution of this is negative, and thats why I don't mind acting on this as long as I have admin rights.

I have banned you for 1 day and I from now on I will keep banning people who stire up the chat and float it with trollish shit and attacks towards other players, as long as I have admin rights - whether it's you, fisherman, DrStrange, Latino or someone else. If you have issues with test01 abusing his low id, then take it to the higher authorities as it's allowed and have been forever.

If you want to chat, troll and attack a specific player then create a chatroom, befriend him on facebook - I don't care how you do it, but don't do it ingame.

Besides that most of the admins atm. are still people Nameless made admin - including me. + I bet Nameless would have made Nubian an admin since he had a habbit of granting rights to his clanm8s. Well, this is a good example of what I mean. You decide to bring up the "negative topic" about "stacking" (I think it was about that...). You quote me from an episode where I'm accused for stacking only 2-3 minutes into a new round, and you don't want to mention the "good parts" where I  8 out of 10 times switch sides to balance teams through a round...
I had a similar episode, or at least an episode I want to mention, yesterday on Gazala: I was allied at the beginning, driving around in my Sherman and allied got all flags. I suicided and switched to axis. After a few flag attempts in my Panzer I got tired of being bombed by the allied planes so I decided to get in line for a 109. Pretty fast after I got a 109 some decent players from allied disconnected and the teams once again seemed unbalanced. Then I was told from a player to switch side, but at that time I refused. Why you may ask?: Because I just been waiting for a plane on the airfield, and I just got up in the air, and as much as I want to play a fun and balanced conquest game, I'm not a team-balancing-robot. That's why I'm so tired of all the stacking-talk. A lot of player switch sides during rounds to fix it, but all we hear and talk about is the negative stuff. In general.

Hmm I don't know where you get that from. I hope to myself that I would also defend you, if you needed it, and if I feld like you were treated unfairly.

General in life I don't like double standards and I say to myself and lives by the belief that if you "do the crime you do the time" period. Even if it was Hounden, Nattergal or Butcher. But I'm also in that belief that after the time is done, we move on. And the time shouldn't be an eternity, not at all.

It somewhat saddens me that a lot of us in this game and community are so busy fighting each other, pointing fingers and what not, instead of positively contribute to what little that remains. It wouldn't be any big deal if we were playing a big modern A titel, but we aren't, and we all actually need each other in here and should find passion together in the game which we all love before it totally dries out. (However beef and a little teasing among players is cool, but there is a big difference)

Although I'm not a mind reader, I do have an idea why Butcher express himself as he did and sometimes does, Sommarel. And that is probably also the reason behind this topic - that players are treated (and monitored) differently and that can be somewhat frustrating. An easy way for you to feel this, would be if you played with Butchers IP and keyhash and see what would happen if you moved around and played like you do in this clip above. I could probably drop a lot of names that would clap their hands for such a clip with Butcher as in the main role, and I predicts actions being done very quickly... I'm not after you Sommarel, I'm just trying to picture for you what and where frustration might come from. Luckily we have plenty of funny guys in this forum to cheer us up :-)

Well, every player know this is the story of 000 playstyle, if he is playing, which is most likely; he will join a map based on only 2 purposes: Getting gold with all cost and if that isn't possible or the map doesn't suit his gold rush, he will usually spend his meaningful time targeting a specific player.

Explained further:
- Getting gold the easiest way possible: Getting low ID to get specific vehicles to suit his purpose, teamstacking by constant reconnecting until he end up in the "right team".
- Targeting a specific player: Usually by taking a plane spending a whole map searching for 1 specific player to kimikaze or hunt high from the sky. Some would call it a waste of a usefull vehicle others would probably call it "balancing between trolling and targeting".

Merlin got, I think a whole of 2 months ban, for his anger management problems with his chat(abuse), I'm curious about this case if a chat(abuse) gives 2 months....

Since we already started a public admin questionmark on this decision: 2 months for language? Feel like thats a bit too much Karen-like-harsh.

While Merlin ofc. should talk properly and follow the server rules, the most sensitive Karen players should maybe consider using the ignore command in their console.... It will usually be "ignore id 0, 1, or 3" when it's Merlin :-)
