Hey all,
I just wanted to share my BF1942.exe with you guys!
I mainly share this because of my fix for the annoying message: Error: failed to add player <name> to buddylist. Couldn't locate player.
For the nerds: file offset 6A410: 83 C4 1C 90 90
Its based on Team SIMPLE's exe with the addition of Buds in-menu resolution fix and a RAM expansion.
The changes are:
* No CD
* Portable
* Widescreen support - In game
* Widescreen support - In menu
* master.gamespy.com replaced with master.bf1942.sk
* Increased accessible ram from 2gb to 4gb
* Removed this message from console:

This is how the game works. The sniper breath is fake. Nameless compensated wrongly for the sniper breath. Watch the vid by Hencca and you might understand

ehh objectTemplate.spawnDelayAtStart does work.
At least if if its not attached to a controlPoint.

Beariale, I admire your willingness to follow the rules.
But, first of all dont do pay-back stuff. That alone can give you a kick/ban.
Secondly all those tanks I killed were at the capturable flag (the one near your base).
And when I shot you down you were even past that flag.
That area is not the base...
I'm wondering where you got the information about where the base is?
Do you normally play on another server?

the best performance ive ever got from bf42 server was a dedicated xenon with windows xp, it was in fact such big difference in ingame feeling that some players insisted that the plane engines was modded for more higher torque and speed even that was not the case.
I still would love to see such a server!
Sadly windows is so terribly inconvenient for servers

Yep, indeed.
I once tried running a linux bf1942 server on the raspberry pi, but sadly the raspberry has arm architecture which will need some emulator to run a x86 program.
So in the end I used an old laptop which now runs a terminal only version of Debian (So i dont use the laptop screen).
This setup only consumes around 12 Watt 
Which is in the same range as the raspberry

there is one advantage:
the flags are a bit transparent which gives you the possibility to see if you have teammates there.
Sometimes I bomb teammates who are invisible on map because of the flag icon (I use oridginal)

Hit on the crosshair is hit on opponent (on server).
Zwarrior was keeping his crosshair very big for that distance (at start with main gun and especially with pistole). And with that big croshair he aimed for head, so no wonder he missed so much.
In this middle of the vid he aimed well + small crosshair, then he actually had some hits. And yeah unlucky that 3 guys were healing the opponent
