I got my problem solved: the graphic driver was not installed correctly... i was running my computer on VGA graphic only. -.-

Bonjour,
i had to reinstall windows 7 and now, BF is not launching any more:
If i doubleclick the BF1942.exe, a small black window opens, an windows error sound appears and i get kicked back to the desktop immediately. The problem occurs with origin and CD version.
What i already tried:
- Launch as Admin and XP3 compatibility.
- Replace BF1942.exe with the gamespy-patch.
- Change "Settings/VideoDefault.con" to disable fullscreen
The last possibility opens the black window, giving the error sound and the message: "Invalid videomode specified".
Since i'm out of ideas, the sense of my life is fading away... So please help me!

You was banned because you was cheating : you shot us before you see us, you knew from where we came. That's maphack.
1) I'm also such a pro-gamer that everyone who kills me must be a cheater. (Please ban yourself.)
2) I shot you before you see me. You shot me before i saw you. Welcome on the battlefield.
3) You guys used always the same spawnpoint and headed for the same flag. Do you need maphack to predict the most possible path?
I have so little time I wont loose hours following cheaters to get a proof. When 3 of us agree after houts that we see the guy shooting before tge corner or getting out. When the tank stop gping to the flag and look backwards at the spexific poont where u arr etc [...]
1) If you dont have time, you should not ban just for fun. This may result in long, time-consuming discussions in the forum.
2) Three sheep agree that the wolf is bad. Is this your understanding of how to find the truth? (Make a video to proof whatever you think!)
3) BF is more than 10 years old. You should know the F9-F12 keys.

Hiho,
i was killing some avernes-guys on Essen and got kicked for some random reason. Since i can't reconnect, I might be banned. So please unban me and explain the admin that killing enemies is part of the BF game...

Hans is a little bit choleric if his KDR drops below 10. That's all. 
But I'm still impressed of his reaction on monday: He wrote a gentle "nice" instead of accusing me of cheating. 
PS: Most admins do a good job on simple servers. (Only the lamers make trouble from time to time.)

btw, why still there isn't any mention about active targets in server rules? according to them all you can do is bomb aa's and artillery with a plane
Usually, everyone knows to interprete these rules without spoiling the whole game. I can't remember that this was a problem before.

Nope, that's wrong.
As you know, there is no rule that prescribes a plane for an airstrike. So I used a zooka rocket* to airstrike this active flak.
*Rockets can fly.

I know it's not written in the server rules, but an essential part of war games is that some of the players your are shooting at will shoot back. You had 40+ kills, died five times and kicked at least two of the players who interrupted your kill series.
I know laming is fun, but please dont kick those few people who keep the game running.

Good evening,
there is an admin online on simple [fra] who don't know the server rules:
I killed the player nomax with an attack at his active flak and got kicked for baserape. Some minutes before, another guy was also kicked for baserape, after attacking the same player's artillery that was shooting out of the base.
As far as I know, attacking active targets is legit - even if it's an admin...
So maybe this special guy should get known to the server rules.

Hiho,
yesterday evening (~21h, map: Telemark), i joined the SW & RtR server to play with my friend MIMI. He was very upset about another player that stole his tank or something like that. He made a teamkill (I guess on purpose) and got banned for it. Since he also left TS (rage quit ^^), I couldn't ask for details.
I might have missed something, but I'm sure that the a simple kick would have been enough to punish the teamkill.
So please unban him, if possible.

First time that i see this Gewehr 43 shoot without reload
Maybe you should have waited at least 5 shots. This sniper rifle has to be reloaded very often.

That's it. I was making my first turn taking off from the base and P4 started to shoot at me.
As i said: You cant shoot planes from G3 unless they are very high. I think you saw the APC in F3 firing.
That would explain why you knew its position although it was hidden between the trees.
So please make sure that you kick players that violate the server rules.

I can't see any attack on the APC in this picture. The APC was in F3 or F4 and I shot at nämeless' plane from a position in the middle of G3.
It's possible to shoot planes after takeoff from there, when they fly over the hills of G2/G3. Planes in F1 are not visible from there, as long as they are not flying very high.
To avoid future complications, i'd like to know how long a average takeoff lasts - 30 seconds?
And how long is it for admin pilots?

Hiho,
at the moment, Kursk is running and nämeless is laming with his plane as usual. I shot him down one time without any complication. The second time, I got him while he attacked our APC and he kicked me for basecamping. Everything happened close to the enemy flag.
Later, I accidently hit him with AA while shooting at an enemy plane. Since his plane was damaged before, i got a teamkill. I apologized immediately, but he kicked me again.
Unfortunately, it's not the first time that nämeless abuses his admin rights if his kdr drops below 10.
BF is a game and it's more fun, if all players play with the same rules.

Hiho,
today, i recognized that all player names were removed. This might be more realistic, but it comes along with some difficulties:
1) It provides teamkills in many situations by blind shooting, bombing or nading.
2) Players in buildings are completely invisible as long as I'm not close enough to smell them.
3) It's hard no recognize, whether a vehicle is empty or used by an enemy. (Capturing a flag at CTF is almost impossible, if you waste ammo and time on shooting the wrong tank.)
4) Basebombers and team damaging players can not be reported until they die or get a (team)kill.
So I would be thankful if you return to the old server settings.

This guy uses several fake-names (mostly well-known names). You can recognize him at his ping around 120 ms.
Sometimes, he's not using his cheats. Then, he's usually trowing nades at spawn point and switches team.

Hi all,
i dont know what's up these days, but maybe somebody can tell me.
Yesterday i got kicked without any warning, after someone accidently crashed into my plane (i survived, but got a tk). I rejoined, complained about the kick and got kicked again (what might okay, since i used the word "idot"). One rejoin later, the admin teamwounded me on purpose and kicked me when i shot back a single time without killing him.
Today, i met an undercover admin named "123". He was bugging as lecter usually does and commented most of his kills with "nap". During the game, i changed the team but got back-switched soon because of uneven teams. This admin wrote something about spying his position (what is really stupid for an offensive player on stalingrad) and tried to ban me for teamstack. Luckily, his command failed, but he said he will ban me when i switch teams again. (The real reason might be that i was 1st on the table and he the 2nd.)
I'm playing on simple servers for years, but i cant remember such an abuse of admin rights. (Usually, bored idiots can do a lot of shit until they get warned or kicked.) So I hope this is only an accumulation of individual cases and not the beginning of arbitrary server administration.
Please think about it and feel free to comment my point of view.
