So far i can say something about frank, that i saw him allways acting as a good admin. He takes time to observe disrupting players, he warns them twice, and if this doesn't help, he kick them. As it should be.

Why all start to roll this out... not everybody has a every day a good day and nobody is perfect. (Ok, except Timmos, he is allways nice to everybody ).

Could you start now to make love, not war?

Try to have a view from the other side, sleep over that, the next day you forgive each other and shake your hands.

After that, you can wash each others head in the battlefield.

How about  Monday... only on Simple Fra... Clash of the Admins...

I guess, it's better to use only 20Mhz if you have in mixed-mode and 20/40Mhz problems. Remind that two different standards, (if you have two machines, one with 11g and one with 11n) could conduct instabilities too, because it's jumping between the modes. In this case it's better to set manually a 11g only or 11n only mode.

The 5Ghz Mode can be more stable, but on the other side, it can be disturbed disturbed by weatherradarsystems.

With these tools you can watch, which channels are used in you area, (incl. Neighborhood). After the analyze choose an empty one, prefered are StandalloneChannels.

Today, later, in Kursk, he was going on with the same imputations... called me a lier, that i am a tkiller, a hacker, ... etc.

Aldo, (or alvarez) and Atez were there too and perhaps one of them knows him.

First i ask myself, why you are so disgruntled , if you were not this jesus. (I wrote he's name was "Jesus").

On the other hand, today in the map gazala, (Map was around 14.25 CET+1), a "Jesus" was acting the same way, as this one in Iwo Jima.

Jesus was starting in a plane and get tkilled by the gunner from the stukka, which was starting too. I wrote (for the admin), that BfSoldier (i hope i remember the tkiller right) just tkilled Jesus, from the gunner position in the stukka.

But... what happend. Jesus wrote ... "Arkos lie".

Why and wherefore he came on that. It was in fact the same answers, like the jesus in Iwo Jima wrote, when i told him, that the Chat is logged. (stop shoting me, Arkos... but i didn't etc.)

Later, he wrote, that i'm a snake, and in the following map (Rhaid on Agheila), as he said it again, he was going on with... "go and write it in the forum". Why he come to that all, if this jesus today would not be the same as the one in IwoJima.

If it matters, then an admin could watch, which keyhash this jesus today had, to find out, who this one today really is.

A bit late, but not to late, i hope. For people, who still can't play in theire desired resolution....

In the case, like nämeless had it, you have to delete the profile in Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings\Profiles\Custom- folder.

This can happen, when the format of the video.con is corrupted.

After you deleted the old profile start the game, and make a new one. Then choose one of the standard Settings, as- exp. "high" and adjust a standard Resolution, which you know is supported by your monitor and save it. After you adjust Qualitysettings. When finished, save it and exit BF1942.

Now you can edit your new Custom Profile's "video.con" (Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings\Profiles\Custom- folder) and there you enter your desired resolution and refreshrate in the line "game.setGameDisplayMode xxxx xxxx xx xx"

As. Exp. > "1920 1080 32 60"

(Or 1440 900 32 60, (60 is your refresh rate, when you have a CRT or a lcd which makes higher refresh rate, use the refreshrate you want to play with. On newest lcd's up to 144 Hz)

Then safe and start the game and load a SP FastGame to test it. But it should be ok now. The Maps are now in your custom resolution and refresh rate.

(between in video,con the max. setting for "Texture Details" is 5)

For 16:10 you have to use 1.2 / for 16:9 1.3333 etc.

Your videodefault.con should look like this (Exp. 16:10 AspectRatio)

People who play without vsync can edit the following line too.

renderer.lockfps 999   

(Between. > "renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 1" is the line which unlock all resolutions and refreshrates from your screen. But only original resolutions.)

After you did all this, and it runs, configure the your keyboard settings and play. (otherwise you could safe the folder "Controls" from your old profile and copy it into your new one.

But, i guess, most people have allready solved that problem. If you have still not the desired resolution, i know what's the problem. But this goes to far at this moment.

I forget. ReadOnly is not needed in my case. It works. Anyway. If it works once, copy your profile to avoid ev. upcoming problems in the future.

It's free Prof. Version. Key is written on owners page.

(OS Win98 > Win7, but my recommmmendation is up to WinXP. On Windows 7 it's possible that not everything is working, as 7 changed after the support of this tool ended. I used it to on 7, but i know the tool and its functions since many years).

There was once a server... The most important rules were written in red, big over the entire screen  before a mapstart.

Perhaps it was BFA Coral Sea, but i can't remember exactly. There is a way to make some of most important rules visible to everybody before the map starts. This would help to avoid upcoming trouble.

The gameplay starts often to be very good 10-20 minutes after the map started. This is the time, when the situation changes, means, the Team, which was inferior is coming up and the moment, where the real game and fun begins. But only for a short moment, because of the Koitus Interruptus by Timer. This specially in Battle of the Bulge with around 30+ people or in Tobruk.

In Tobruk, the APC for allies is a good thing. I remember one battle, where one was driving the APC between frontline and axis base, perhaps 40 meters to the right of frontline right flag in a sink. From there we had a great coming up and strike back.

And in case of the Timer for Tobruk... the map ends anyway, if allies lost all flags and all of them are eliminated.

Is there a possibility to use "MapChangeVotingSystem" to a "TimerOffVoting". I think, only when it's a funny game, people will vote to deactivate the timer, (as example 2/3 ratio). (Perhaps you remember Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, where this was possible too).

If Chutes would be deactivated, people, who can't fly very well, would or could change to allies, to repair factory or defend the island with AA's or be an engineer to repair factory or RadarTowers. In this case, i would prefer to forbid to attack the Axis Base. Like this, it would be an old fashion way "Attack & Defend" Map and, i'm sure, it would boost the Teamwork. I remember many good BOB battles, where it depended on some single tickets to win or lose because of the factory, which keeps 2%, when Axis Tickets were going down, because we had around 10 engineers who spend theire lives to reach the target under heavy bombaredements.
