You are correct Z these players do indeed ruin the game and have no serious desire to compete anyways. I will always hope they mature but it happens less than it should. You always HAVE helped the Admins in game and if more regular players can help alert the Admins to the douche bags, I am sure they will work to warn/kick/ban or one of my faves, continuous !kill which bores the hell out of em and usually, after time, they give up being unable to disrupt the game any longer. ***POURS ya top shelf adult beverage***Today i was playing at the main server and there was one player asking to get a 9 days of ban without reason, he was actually spaming saying: give me a 9 days ban.
there was an admin (hilly) and i typed hey just give him a permanent ban.
Also today we have this new player/troll who admitted what he did without saying sorry.....
By seeing this i think that trolls have reached the next level, that´s why i ask admins to be more tough.
Hilly has bunches of experience and I believe he is going to do the right thing. An asshat, is an asshat. Asking for a 9 day ban, indicates an individual, likely in the age range of 6 to 11. I do not think Hilly would ban someone because they ask for the ban. He was likely laughing at the pure absurdity of the child. You may well be right Z, the trolls/spammers/useless folks might be at a new level. The folks here, will match that level and I expect maintain the server and game still. I do know that the Admins will try hard. And honest.

And I did not say the speech should be limited, only that hatred in any form, socially speaking, has NO benefit to anyone. I personally would have banned him totally sometime ago along with a few others for their actions here and in game but "not my circus not my monkeys", but it is the reason I don't hang around here much anymore.As Bud points out Tuia has done a lot of work in keeping this game alive and I certainly do not hold him responsible for the views of others or what they type in game or in forum. I would say however that all of this good work that he has done is now being spoilt be these uneducated fools and it will eventually kill this game off completely.
I have really enjoyed my gaming here on simple and I thank Tuia and you all for the opportunity but when it ceases to be fun its time to stop.
I will still pop in for the occasional game just for giggles if it is still here but having shut down my servers a few weeks ago I think my time with BF1942 is done.

Dink, you are not only 100% correct on the above, see how this "Ban Appeal" has gone so far off track, its unrecognizable as an appeal. Obviously.........its not a ban appeal. The degradation you notice is recognized by more folks. And it is real. Tuia and SSK have both worked very hard to keep this game alive, as YOU have too Dink. I tip the hat to everyone that has dedicated so much of life, to this damned GAME! (And there are many that deserve the thanks!) Many folks (Myself ESPECIALLY!!!!) have you to thank over the years, for your help, guidance and "fixin the stuff" along with the camaraderie and sore faced laughs.
Just remember Dink, SiMPLE has indeed been a "welcome" to "oddities" shall we say and even in game grey statements that are political and not in the direction of the 99% of the humans on this planet. THANK God I might add. For the 99%!!! So there IS INDEED some responsibility for the breeding of the statements and dark comments and the path of the Forum. Its encouraged. I know of NO other servers anywhere myself, with these motives. Reap the sowing of the seeds of the politics.
We sure do hope to catch you when you do appear time to time. Now we just have to figure out how to getcha into the R+R server. I know.......no CTF.....
So in closing Dink, publicly I wanted to THANK YOU, for more than I can even know, let alone type here, of the help you have given me personally over the years, the PAIN IN THE ASS I have been and for my crappy computer and components that you wished......you were not helping me with. I love your perspective and also agree with you 100% by the way. However, with the advent of the new "DOUCHE BAG REDUCTION CAMPAIGN" I would hope for more leniency on those that genuinely deserve it, followed by more discipline, for those that are disgustingly obvious, that they have zero benefit to the game, server, humanity, etc...........

Funny thing about life and human character.
Those who cheat, break rules, or use glitches or exploits etc., which is morally broken with the word "integrity", are the SAME ones that use the Forum to suddenly become.................. HONEST. We should all believe the explanations and reasons for innocence, even though the same player, was dishonest in game. Its like a Mantra.
