My guess is it's just been crazy around you Winston !
Fuck me I can't see all those games.
It's not too crazy because although I'm a Kiwi, I live in Japan. Fortunately it's a public holiday this week so I've been able to watch a lot of games. Also means I've drunk a lot too though. It was great watching Japan beat the Springboks on Saturday night. It was absolutely crazy in the bar where I watched it. I almost bloody cried!
Hi Bob. Lol. You get the Cricket World Cup. We get the Rugby World Cup!
England vs Australia = Australia will win.......
Why ........?
the "........"?
That is because I'm not confident and I changed my mind several times. Australia is good at upsetting other strong teams, They are ranked number two in the world and this year the beat both the number one and number three ranked teams. I think they'll put on a good show, but it is England's backyard so it's really hard to predict. One thing I am 100% confident in, is the fact that it will be a fantastic clash of titans!
It's something like...

Except using The Matrix analogy I would be Agent Smith.

Edit: I forgot to add the first game!!!
French team 2015 isn't a fine vintage. But anyway, that'll be more than enough to kick some Kiwi asses
The finest (and the first) confrontation I've ever seen is France/NZ 1999. Both teams at their best. Beautiful passing game and heroic action on both sides. A spectacular comeback. Ever since, I feel like the game of the two teams has become too conventional (2007 and 2011).
There have certainly been some great match-ups between New Zealand and France, my favourites are the ones the All Blacks win! The game from 1999 was an example of the famous French flair, but it was also a lesson in underestimating the competition. New Zealand was expected to win the game and the tournament but that didn't happen. There were some fantastic tries from both sides - including one from Jonah Lomu at the end of the first half, and again, with the help of Jeff Wilson, at the start of the second half.
But from there on it was only heartbreak.
In a little over two days the great rugby nations of the world will face off in a tournament over six weeks to lift the William Webb Ellis Cup and be crowned winners of the Rugby World Cup. The competition takes place in England and Wales, though mostly in England. I'm a New Zealander, a Kiwi, and so I'm a supporter of the mighty All Blacks, who are the defending champions, and who I hope will be back-to-back winners.
My prediction for the quarter finals: New Zealand vs France with a New Zealand victory!
How did I miss this thread?! Sorry Monkey, I wasn't deliberately ignoring you!
Scott Dixon is the Kiwi driver who races in the Indy 500, right?
Did he win?
That's from my childhood.
The Brick Game was incredibly popular for about three months when I was at high school.
It was $9.95 from a local K-Mart like store. We played the shit out of that game!
I've finally finished reading this thread. With so many posts and counter-posts it's difficult to follow.
Icebags, is this a fair synopsis?
1: TOOKIE treats you unfairly by banning and kicking you for minor or nonexistent offenses.
2: The SiMPLE server admins are either taking TOOKIE's side or keeping silent, which is tantamount to taking TOOKIE's side.
3: You are blameless and faultless bar a few minor transgressions.
4: You have declared revenge and are currently conspiring to bring a severe and prolonged disruption to the SiMPLE USA server.
Also, What is your definition of a victorious resolution?
A: TOOKIE's resignation.
B: Your unbanning.
C: Successfully disrupting the server.
D: Something different.
Cheers.
back after a week away i cant believe i have lost half an hour reading this soap opera
You're a faster reader than me!
I never even finished the first book and the sequel is already out? I think I'll just wait for the HBO series.
Sad but true.
This is an agenda driven video that paints a picture of Europe as being overrun by unruly hordes of dark-skinned savages. It contains a lot of excellent footage to support its agenda but provides very little context. It attacks the mainstream media's "human tragedy" theme by showing dark-skinned migrants fighting with riot police and civilians, and causing wanton vandalism. However, to do so it only uses the most provocative clips.
What I have learnt from the mainstream media:
*The migrants can be classed into three groups as follows: refugees fleeing the Syrian and Iraqi conflicts, economic migrants from Sub-Saharan Africa, and others who come from North Africa, the Middle East, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other places and whom are a mix of refugees and economic migrants.
*Germany is the preferred destination of refuges due to the belief that housing and cash payments will be provided by the German authorities upon arrival in Germany.
*Germany and Britain are the preferred destinations for Sub Saharan economic migrants who are attracted by the job and business opportunities of countries with strong economies.
*Neither economic migrants nor refugees are particularly interested in settling in poorer European countries like Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, or any part of Eastern Europe.
*Lebanon, Turkey, and Jordan are home to the overwhelming majority of refugees from Syria and Iraq. The migration into Europe is a small trickle compared to the numbers resident in those countries.
*Migration from Africa is unlikely to stop anytime soon unless conditions improve considerably in Africa. One proposal is a type of Marshal Plan to boost the economies of South Saharan Africa. However, this is not affordable at the moment.
*Migration from the Syrian and Iraqi war zones in not going to cease until well after peace and stability are achieved in those areas. Peace in Iraq will require committed armies to fight ISIS/D'esh and hold their ground. But ISIS/D'esh cannot be defeated so long as they are able to flee across the Syrian border to regroup and resupply their fighters. Therefore the war against ISIS/D'esh in Iraq is also the war against ISIS/D'esh in Syria.
*Bringing peace to Syria will require befriending or destroying one or more of the fighting factions.
*Currently the Kurds are working with Western forces but there are limitations due to their ongoing friction with Turkey.
*The US has been backing various groups of rebel fighters for several years now but they are much weaker than the government and after the rise of ISIS now appear to be a lost cause.
*ISIS cannot be backed by the West for ideological reasons, and it's far too late to sell the idea of President Assad as being a noble dictator who's protecting Western interests from an evil threat, the way Saddam was portrayed after the Islamic revolution in Iran and the Persian Gulf War in the early 1980s (not to be confused with the 2nd Gulf war in the 1990s and the Third in the 2000s).
*An invasion of Syria by a Western led coalition, European states and NATO, including Turkey, possibly Jordan and some of the Gulf states as well, could not be done legally through the UN because Assad is supported by Veto wielding Russia, and to a lesser extent, China.
*America would not support an invasion of Syria as the idea of another long war and occupation in the Middle East would be extremely unpopular, and the human exodus is a European problem, America is more concerned with Mexicans and sneaky Canadians slipping into the US than Syrians migrating to Berlin.
*For the situation to fundamentally change, something big must happen.
But it could be worse for the Germans. The migrants could be English:

According to the facility's blog it's scratching the crap put of anyone that goes near it. Also, I hear PETA is pissed at how they are treating it.
Honestly can't tell if this is bullshit or not!
Then my work here is done.
When did you learn Japanese Pit?!
Where you guys play when S USA is down ?? Looked at Mokey upgrading and I want to play today!
I like to head to the Hokkaido severs for a bit of no rules, bot killing fun. Not much of a challenge, just fun!

Mr Magoo is quite a fitting name then!
Jazzy, yes I would love to fly some of those... isn't the Submarine Spitfire in the Battle of Britain?
Supermarine Spitfire bro. If your Spitfire is a submarine then you're likely already in the English channel!
Wow. USA server has 36/36. That's nice to see!
My birthday?

It would be a long essay.

Jumped back in time to the 1990s...,
I finally upgraded to Windows 10. The process was smooth enough once it got going. I didn't have to reinstall and programmes, including BF1942 but I did have to activate DirectPlay to play it. Thanks seventy for that advice:
"The only thing I had to turn on after the upgrade was the DirectPlay feature, you can find out how to do it here:
https://windowsforum.com/threads/turn-o … 10.205952/"
I did - and still am - having some trouble with my audio. At first my headphones would not play video or game sound even though they played system sounds, like beeps and the like. I uninstalled, reinstalled, and restarted a few times and nothing happened. The next day, however, my headphones were magically working.
Some aspects do seem a little buggy, but hey, we are the guinea pigs!
Someone tried unsuccessfully to stop the Axis onslaught with this two jeep, three mine roadblock. It's simple yet perfect. The jeeps are parked in such a way they effectively stop vehicles from crossing the bridge. They allow space for infantry to move between them yet it would be difficult to drive either vehicle away under fire. Even if an advancing tank did manage to clear the jeeps they would still have mines to deal with.

Another angle:

I replaced the images I uploaded earlier with ones supported by imgur. There shouldn't be any bikini girls or popups anymore.
Moon''s Karkhov looks about right so that's what I'll enforce from now.
Here's some pics of Tobruk:

Good point about the bots. I've seen players cry stacking because they count the bots when the actual player numbers are more or less even - sometimes even after !nobots.
Another point where bots make it uneven is when they steal the bloody ships on Omaha and won't abandon ship.
A few problems with auto balance / no being able to switch: it doesn't take into account completely useless players - not trolls that'll get kicked, just useless players.
Also, doesn't take AFK players into account and it's hard to know if someone's AFK for a few minutes after the game starts.
And not being able to switch means you can't switch to even up teams.
I'd like to see an auto balance that admins can toggle on and off
Hey, I recommend using a image host such as imgur.com.
I don't want to pester you, but the image host you are using has ads and it even sneaks a few popups on my iPad safari.
A big problem is Berlin. It is a great infantry map but it can be completely unplayable when Axis is camping the Allied base with a tank and everyone is throwing grenades in. This causes half the allied team to switch to Axis which further makes a break out impossible.
Thanks mate. I'll take those images down tomorrow and reload them with a better image hosting website. I'm running Adblock so I don't see any popups or ads. Pit had said something about bikini girls but I thought he was just joking. Sorry about that, I should have been more careful.
I just opened one on my iPhone and I see what you mean.
