Because I'm not a meany, I'm gonna share some info that could possibly help people out with hit-reg and aim in BF1942, if they're willing to go this far!

I've been linux distro hopping for a while.  Also been using different VPNS. 

Drauger OS is a linux OS that's solved all my previous bf42 problems.  Smooth as butter and somehow it negates the inherent bf1942 mouse accel that's plagued this game from the very start.  Aiming feels like CSGO raw input and dare I say, reg also improved.  You know those very rare days or moments in bf42, when your reg feels so crisp and easy?  Well it's like that, but all the time!

I've wasted some time and money with a few VPN's.  The ones that worked best for me are pureVPN and cyberghost, the latter being my preference.  It's a bit trial and error with what servers (route) to use, but I've found 2 or 3 with black and white reg difference.  Sometimes bf42 can be so inconsistent with reg, so I setup a windows 7 laptop with bf42, to cross-check every change I made, so I knew it wasn't BF42 playing tricks on me.

I'm no tech guru by any stretch and I can't be bothered to get my magnifying glass out to analyse why all this helps.  It just does.  Anyway, I'll never go back to windows, EVER!  Cheers to !sudo Corax for always being a stud muffin and helping me.

Only downside was a bit of messing around with linux to make it compatible with BF42.

The leading distance required to hit a plane,  depends on the speed,  distance, angle and ping.

You can't just place your crosshair directly on the plane with no leading distance, and hoping to destroy him with 20 ping. That ain't gonna happen unless you're very close to the target, or  behind his tail at the same altitude. You can clearly see that on Zwarrior's video:  he kept shooting from far directly on the plane, with no leading, and of course zero hits. Then a bit later, as they came closer, and lost a bit of speed, he was able to get hit registrations with almost no leading.

You also have to progressively change the leading as you fly. It's very easy to fk it up if you don't know what you're doing.

And I got the clear feeling that you would also have prefered and liked to see Butcher and DrNick excluded for example.

I don't want to start another time consuming chat-war which is gonna go nowhere - I have already spend too much time on this deeko-case before
