Must have been some router problem between Portugal and France. I think other players didn't experience it. Ping is stable, now.

Today server's ping is irregular. It's not a server problem, it's connected with the hosting company network. I am sure they are aware of it and it will be solved.
Check your ping to the server.

Yes. That's why i ask you to ban someone for pixel-shooting only if you are absolutely sure he is doing it.

Those are banned. Generally speaking, they can be banned, and sooner or later they will be.

Yes, this server should be stable and no more IP address changes expected. Fingers crossed.
You can still connect from the old servers IP addresses, you will be redirected. Always have your server lists updated.

You may connect to the server from 199.195.142.124 or 69.85.86.35. Both IP addresses are listed in GameSpy.
Report any connection problems or lag you may have there, please.

hm i was there yesterday, there was around 8 players, and some lag appeared and most of them left and it was empty again i think

It has been reduced the maximum ping value allowed, but I believe this has no effect in the server.

My question is, if I will install the expansion packs, will I then automatically be unbanned (since the keys will change)? Or should I deinstall the base game and then reinstall with a new (non-pirated) key?
The expansion pack cd-keys have nothing to do with your ban. If they are valid, they will allow you to install the expansion packs and play in any BF1942 server running Road to Rome or Secret Weapons maps.
You don't need to reinstall the game again to use a new cd-key. You can change to your valid CD-key, by running Battlefield 1942_Code.exe in Battlefield 1942eReg directory. I've sent you some days ago an email to the address you registered in this forum, explaining your problem. didn't you read it?

You can always see if your perceived lag is due to low frame rate with a program like Bandicam or Fraps. If you lag when you get to see more objects (players, vehicles, etc.), you should firstly lower in-game resolution and remove some graphic details. Reread this topic, it has some information about it and a few other tips.

Hi all and thanks for all good advices, didint know that 2002 game can be so demanding. anyway I have new i5 hp dv7 laptop and its not lagging. but it crashes a lot under win7 home premium, it happens just when map is loaded and game should start, i get crash and have to reload game. anyone has idea? i tried with right click on icon and winxp compt. but its not working. Is this because win7 version? my brother has stronger version (win7 pro or something) and he doesnt get that much crashes.

Map modders will have to read players' suggestions and come up with some ideas to create some balanced fun modded maps.

maehnaebteheu created the Parcours Challenge maps, right? If so he is a very talented map modder. But server side modding is a bit different than creating your maps, there are some limitations in what you can accomplish.

If you want to install Secret Weapons and Road to Rome, you'll need keys too. I like Road to Rome and Secret Weapons expansion packs, it has some cool maps.
