Can you imagine, just for a moment, an Admin, who is UNABLE TO PLAY, because he is working to keep the server straight, and actually having to sit "idle" because of asshats. (Idle is your word) It happens. To be so quick to throw the axe, because you ACTUALLY WATCHED Vert "idle", severely unbalancing teams,..........sounds like another exaggeration. I have a feeling, from history, he was speccing or watching, INSTEAD of being able to play. Because the map, situation or players required that from him. Not all Admins will give that much. Vert does. OFTEN. And others do too.
As for "whining", I have not seen it ever here myself. Not even once. However,.......looking into the mirror...............
In case you are not aware, however I suspect you are, Vert works his tushy off for the benefit of the server and the game. Always has. I suspect that is part of his character as a human. One I admire.
And before you suggest it, I dont know Vert any better than anyone else on a personal side. It is all strictly from observance and experience.
If admins were bots, perhaps tuia could have programmed us with unified
responses for a given situation.

Arab mathematics and the algebra understanding is a biggie. Backgammon we used to play OFTEN! I now wonder why. I actually miss it now that you mentioned it.
I have no problem giving "Ludo" a try as well.
Current fav: Playing a card game called "31" for money. (Its $3.00 American per game.) NOT a lot of money but when 7 play, you can win $21.00 American each game and play up to 6 games per session typically. Ya we toss in the "shots" when one screws up enough. Mandatory shots!!!

If you know of the 10,000 hour completion, (Malcolm Gladwell, Outliers) then you know that the gross majority of those in any activity, that excel, are the ones that become the outliers. The best. The best of the best.
The ODD thing, 99.9% of those outliers,.......... the best of the best, say nothing about their professionalism or prowess. They learned something about being humble. Its part of that success.
So I ask you now, what drives a human, to seek with frequency, confirmation of their belief they are the best. Requires admission of said belief by competitors?. Or simply ONE of the best??? And to be RECOGNIZED as such, or it becomes a disagreement?
Ask the outliers. They are already HERE in these servers. And I might add, they are GENUINE TEAM players.

Been an "odd" year. Some good some bad. More good than bad so the balance is positive.
Good, one year closer to retiring in the mountains. Cabin is closer to modifications we wanted. Propoerty improved as well.
Bad, well the job front is a bone of contention. However I may have 2 job offers in the next week or so which would turn the negative, to a POSITIVE!
Wishing ALL a spectacular Christmas, a blessed New Year and best of health, for all.
THEN..........we kill each other in the Battlefield.

So we have an admin arguing with a decent player about something that should have been dealt with in server.
decent player has every right to get into jeep

regardless of our opinion that zwarrior would make a great admin or not. He is a decent player and I fail to see why we are arguing with him and trying to make him the one in the wrong
He has done the right thing by not taking justice into his own hands and reported this in here as he is required to doKeep up the great work zwarrier and report any trolls you come across

I can only respond for myself Z. If I was there, I certainly would have kicked those children, playing in the sandbox as they had zero value to the game, the map or the community. I expect most admins would have kicked them, possibly with a warning first, depending if we know that player(s) already know the rules. I am fairly sure, ANY Admin that was on, would have responded equally. Behavior issues.
Couple things to ponder Z. Sometimes,........ even if douchebaggery is happening, sometimes its best to recognize they are likely just little kids, as the behavior indicates or adolescents in an adult body, both of which I try not to take seriously at all. You have to expect some of those behaviors, as sad as that is to type. And sadder to recognize the truth that it even exists. Some folks are simply destined to be simple minded shits. With proud parents I expect. Just let their shit roll off you man. Report as you do of course, however no need to defend yourself when you are clearly in the right. Its even better to read here, how they try to justify such behavior. Makes us laugh you know............
Second, the mindset might steer toward warn/ban/kick, in light of ban first. I know how those children can get to the mind. HOWEVER...........only if you let it. Drama to me is like gossip. It has at least as much value to me, as that pile of dog crap by the sidewalk. Misbehaved children's drama, even less value. Dont let this piss you off. ONLY YOU can get pissed. Nobody can make you pissed. Drama, behavior, gossip, actions, lettem all go. It has no value anyway. Even if those posting think it does. Just read their context.
Last, keep your character as it is. It has already been deciphered and understood. So blow off those that have no value, kick ass in game when the adrenaline and body is high end. Work as a team player as you do and have a FRICKIN good time. Walk away from the kids. They all smell bad anyways. I know. I raised 3 of em.

I think Zwarrior would be wonderful as an admin, im surprised he isn't one already.
Z has character, honesty, integrity and stands for what he believes is right.
Wonderful characteristics for an Admin Sparrow. I agree, seems he has earned it.
However,........not all players wish for those traits in an Admins. I believe he would be an honor to the game. And benefit the server from what I have learned playing with him and observing the Forum participation.

Perhaps the 50% damaged plane, may have landed, repaired in the hanger for another player to use, especially when several are waiting for a plane.
Perhaps landing a plane and leaving it at 50%, and another player, a Team player, could repair and now a second plane is there for offensive use.
Perhaps that hanger does not have repair ability's. I still cannot see the logic in crashing a piece of field equipment, that has a benefit remaining for the battle. With what appears to be an Engineer right at the opening of the hanger. WITH wrench in hand.

Yeah Pit allowed adder access to the logs as far as I know. He is a good man and a fun player too. ALL admins there, had access to the RM as well. ALL!! If you have an admin, and that one abuses, becomes an ass, is not mature enough, WHATEVER, then quite simply, it was THAT admin that was controlled. (or kicked) Not all of them. Such simplicity in maintaining control/satisfaction.
Actually, I do believe we had access to the logs as well. When we were admins for SiMPLE USA a few years back, Before the two changes to TGE, we had access to the RM there from tuia. Russ had the command (TGE) of the software and modding and changes. He is VERY smart too. And of course,.......(feathers being ruffed ahead.....) we had our own Admin section for the Forum. I suspect it has maintained that way over there, because it makes such PERFECT sense. Funny thing is I cannot remember a single complaint or concern, that we had a separate room in the forums. Might be different now. Everything changes in life. That is except for my debt.

It has been my experience, Vertigo works, puts in extra effort (UNDERSTATEMENT) and has the consideration of the BF community, AHEAD of his choices for his desires. This is not new, it is in his character. Which is the drive for his actions. (He paid me BIG BUCKS to say that!)
Honestly, I am 100% sure his actions are ALWAYS in the best interest of the server and community. And always HAVE been, regardless of the server his efforts are at.
That "character" is extremely visible here in the Forums, with insight to actions simply from the postings. Perhaps you may chew on some reading, then realize he is here with positive intent and actions. You might get a better feel, from all the posts and chat captures etc. of the true person behind the name. I am SO happy Vert is here on the front lines and I expect, those who play often will agree. And perhaps others will confirm their experiences and history too.
I am still learning admin habits and who they even are. I find there are very few idiot players and ZERO bad admins in the early evenings (EST) on the SW R+R server. ( I have NO experience with a SINGLE "bad Admmin" at all!!) I have seen your nickname (does not mean its you) a few times so my expectations are you can concur, for that server and those times, a clean and WELL supported server. There are a few Admins, often on at those times, and I am SOOOOO happy they are there. Straight up, HELPING me when I need it, (Advice and teachings) and their love of playing is evident.
