Please advertise your event on your own web pages and stop trying to poach players from this one. If players want to play this mod they will visit your forums so stop trying to invade this one!

bf1942 has such a small player-base left, don't try to make it smaller.
This is an invitation to a christmas EVENT, he's not trying to steal your members.
If you are so fragile as to think your community will fall apart for 1 single MOD EVENT, then it's not the event that's the problem...
Join if you like, if not, move along.

The map-pack.rar contains the Mod folder "Interstate" which is to be extracted to your ..\Battlefield 1942\Mods\ folder
this contains all the maps you need as well as some custom video .bik animations for some of the maps.

Yeah, some of the images have a tilt-shift ish effect.

Oh ok, my bad i saw all the screenshots and thought the event allready took place.
Not the original siege team, but the one that started to re-work on it and upgrading it called Siege: Medieval Warfare.
We still have all the new content, so.. maybe someday..

You should update the first post with the date.. it still says "Date will come soon!" so i think a lot of players missed it because of this.. me and at least 4 of the guys i was planning to bring along..

Someone is using "special" characters to crash my server.. i have applied your fix but this must be something different..
The "hacker" uses letters like these "éïüýò" at the start of the map, upon map-change the server will crash.. Banned the player using this command and restarted the server, server did not crash on map change, but someone else came in and did the same thing.. map crashed on the next load... any ideas?

The old expansions work with the origin version.

Your patched exe's has to replaced the RETAIL bf1942 (PAID VERSION) in order to work with both origin and retail?
I tried on an origin based server, and it only worked on the origin version. Does the client need to patch? or do i need to use the default/standard/retail/paid version of bf1942 as the host.?

I tried using it on an origin based server and the retail client can't connect (asks to update the game)

So you need a linux server in order to get keyhashes going?...
