If anyone saw Psychodad's post...HE'S GOT THE ANSWER.

It will be IMPOSSIBLE to join servers after launching game. Simply pressing the 'multiplay' button will freeze your game, and you will need to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to unfreeze your game.

The FH Toolbox which Psychodad posted is already in effect. it has been developed by PFC Grabbi for several years, and it predates most some other programs, such as Qtracker, (which i doubt will work, nor have I heard of them), so why try something new when there is a program which is already in use, professionally developed (as you can tell from the images) and easy to use?

Even though PFC is a FH server, it doesn't mean you have to play FH. Grabbi is adding several famous Battlefield 1942 servers to his FH Toolbox, so that you can join perhaps aX or something as well as SiMPLE. You are, however, more than welcome to try out FH (best game mod ever ) because the FH Toolbox makes the download process easy and from there you can also see the maps which you need to download for a FH game

I've been trying to spread the word about the end of Battlefield 1942 on aX server, and we need to unite to pass this stage. If we can survive one month after May then the community will live. But just barely.

Here is my post on aX forum. It is a good idea to keep an eye out for solutions/ plans as much as possible so you can prepare yourself for the day of infamy. 31st May 2014.

If you are playing a Battlefield 1942 server, start raising awareness. Say simple phrases, like what I have been doing:

"Battlefield 1942 gamespy masterserver ends 31st may" or be even more shocking
"Battlefield 1942 ends 31.05.14, look out for server forum at forum.bf1942.sk or team-simple.org for solution!"
"Get FH toolbox to play MULTIPLAYER after 31st May"
"Your game will FREEZE if you try to join after 31st May, except by FH TOOLBOX from PFC"
or even change your name to "BF1942 ONLINE ENDS 31st May" and have another friend change his to "GO TO FORUM FOR SOLUTION"

Literally, it won't hurt for you to say it. Keep it as a conversation topic. Keep people interested. Answer people's questions, or direct them to the forum. I already reached 130 people on aX forum. That's hardly a 10% of all active players on aX. Get the word out to as many people as you can, and we try to cut back on as many losses as we can.

Finally...about the IP joining, it's not going to be possible unless you use external program. For me, I will use FH Toolbox (it is already working now). I believe joining by IP requires pressing the 'multiplay' button, and it won't work even if you have saved your 'favorite servers'

and another thing is that i dont have lag periods where the screen freezes. im sure that high pingers dont experience lag periods all the time either
why does SIMPLE kick these people with ping over 480? are we afraid of lag or other issue?

either all, thank you admins for forgiving me. i can promise that i will play by the rules.
but there is just one problem....when i try to click on the server, it tells me 'banned from server'

i promise that i will not break the server rules. please may you direct me perhaps to a page so i can read them

if you do not trust me, PLEASE give me a trial period, perhaps of 2 weeks.
if i break a SINGLE rule, may you ban me from SIMPLE and i would ask NO questions.

I know i used to be a bad player on other servers, but since i played on simple, i have been on my best behaviour.

I do admit using banned words and now i know it is not allowed, whether or not i use them for the intention of insulting. I had a bad habit of using them to get myself auto kicked when i was on BUC server because i was too lazy to shut the game down..
You can ask some people around simple, who i play with at times such as 'rainforce' and 'twerpman'. They are my friends on the server and i know them, and i do believe they could say a good word of character

Finally, i shouldnt believe that i should be banned from i server because i was banned from another server. i am sorry for consistanty using banned words and please forgive me for that, but other than that, i dont TK, i dont play disruptively or base camp. please give me a fresh start. i can promise that i wont be foolish. if i get twitchy or itchy to play disruptively i will automatically stop playing.

And another finally (   ) , i am really sorry about my behaviour on my other servers. i have re read those comments by those admins and i agree to my past.

And.....please give me a fresh start. i will play properly, not use banned words, no basecamping, no team killing and no insulting of other players.

my nick name is WORMY, other nick names i may have used are Spongy or Noob

my name is quite easy to search up, no spaces, caps, numbers or dashes or symbols.
my name hasnt been used (as far as wormy is concerned), so finding a 'wormy' isnt hard.

im rather new to this server (2 weeks) so please help me with the rules if i done anything wrong.
