Hello, the event is due in a couple of weeks; at the same time the new 3.4 version has released - with some bugs to iron out - and it already includes the map that we are supposed to be playing for the event. Though I wonder, are we going to play that map over, and over, again?

Anyway I just wanted to know if there's some progress uhm.. Bubu has already hosted the 3.4 release event server and it counted as high as 55 players? It was really awesome to see such interest. I believe they are gearing up for a second run also in the same time frame so, we need to figure something out, together!

Yeah I am on the same page: a weekend time would be much better! I understand you want to make it historically-accurate but, I redirect you my question #1 in previous post: during the week people have work to do? tongue

But I guess this kind of event is already very limited in audience so... but a Saturday or Friday nights are much better than Tuesday/Wednesday nights, that's for sure. Also can you make it so I can edit my posts, pretty please? URLs would be cool too but, I can live without them; but if you can upgrade my user to "verified" or something, I would appreciate it. Thanks

edit: wait, now I can edit, and I can give reputation points too - yaaay!!

Well @bubu expressed that he would be able and willing to lend one of his FHSW servers, to install the modification and the additional map. In various Discord servers, I have read that a new version of the modification is also going to be available very soon; but still v3.3 + Mauerfall map is all that will be required to join the event, is that correct?

  1. How many players are you expecting to join this event? I speak from experience in hosting Battlefield 2
    modded events (Pirates/Zombies): it's challenging (difficult) to have people install modifications + maps

Hello all, I also registered to chip in to this topic: I would like to promote the event in my Discord server - Lost-Soldiers BF2 Community - as an "allied event" (we promote all sorts of Vietnam, 1942, 2 & 2142 events), as I would like to attend myself too; but I would prefer if server details, but also a precise time of the day, can be shared (oh and a flier too, I guess it would be as easy as overlaying title/server details/time on one of the pictures in post #1?), so that the promotional post is not ambiguous. I am fairly sure other server owners also feel that way smile technically we're still in summer time by the way (CEST)
